[en] This invention relates to an improvement to the systems for measuring ionic currents in mass spectrometry, comprising a diaphragm with an analytical slit for separating the various ion beams according to the mass/charge ratio of the ions, an electron multiplier, the first dynode of which is placed so as to receive the ions of a beam transmitted by the analytical slit during a pre-set time interval, and an instrument to measure the current delivered by the multiplier. The invention reduce to a negligible amount the effects due to the lack of homogeneity of the first dynode. Under this invention, the system comprises an enlarger of the beam impact area during successive time intervals of duration Δt included in the time interval T during which the entire beam passes through the slit. The enlargement is produced by acting on the beam after it has passed through the analytical slit

L'invention a pour objet un perfectionnement aux dispositifs de mesure des courants ioniques en spectrometrie de masse, comportant un diaphragme muni d'une fente d'analyse permettant de separer les divers faisceaux d'ions en fonction du rapport masse charge des ions, un multiplicateur d'electrons dont la premiere dynode est disposee de maniere a recevoir les ions d'un faisceau transmis par la fente d'analyse au cours d'un intervalle de temps predetermine, et un dispositif de mesure du courant fourni par le multiplicateur. L'invention rend negligeables les consequences des inhomogeneites de la premiere dynode. Suivant l'invention, le dispositif comporte un dispositif d'elargissement de la zone d'impact du faisceau au cours d'intervalles de temps successifs de duree Δt compris dans l'intervalle de temps T durant lequel la totalite du faisceau traverse la fente, l'elargissement etant produit par une action sur le faisceau apres son passage dans la fente d'analyseOriginal Title

[en] This invention concerns a panoramic detector of ions spatially distributed into different beams. This detector can be employed for detecting charged particles, particularly in mass spectrography. Its characteristics feature: - a plane symmetry diaphragm, with an opening for the passage of these beams, the diaphragm being raised to a given potential, - an acceleration electrode provided with an opening located opposite the opening of the diaphragm. This acceleration electrode has a plane symmetry and is brought to a negative potential in relation to that of the diaphragm, - a plane electrode located opposite the accelerator electrode and brought to a negative potential in relation to that of the diaphragm, the absolute potential value of this plane electrode being greater than the absolute value of the acceleration electrode potential

La presente invention concerne un detecteur panoramique d'ions repartis spatialement en differents faisceaux. Ce detecteur peut etre utilise pour la detection de particules chargees, notamment en spectrographie de masse. Il est caracterise en ce qu'il comprend: - un diaphragme a symetrie plane, perce d'une ouverture permettant le passage desdits faisceaux, ce diaphragme etant porte a un potentiel determine; - une electrode d'acceleration percee d'une ouverture situee en regard de l'ouverture du diaphragme; cette electrode d'acceleration presente une symetrie plane et est portee a un potentiel negatif par rapport a celui du diaphragme; - une electrode plane situee en regard de l'electrode d'acceleration et portee a un potentiel negatif par rapport a celui du diaphragme, la valeur absolue du potentiel de cette electrode plane etant superieure a la valeur absolue du potentiel de l'electrode d'accelerationOriginal Title
