AbstractAbstract
[en] Physics in collision reviews the facts of particle physics by discussing lepton-lepton, quark-quark and lepton-quark interactions. Each section of the book contains theoretical information, experimental findings, tables, diagrams, and the possibilities of further investigation through the use of new detectors and accelerators. Also included within the book is a section on physics and society, acknowledging the study of physics as a part of human activity. The final section concludes with selections which compare and contrast the three generic interactions, in a search for commonality among the three

AbstractAbstract
[en] It is assumed that three lepton families (νe,e), (νμ, μ), (ντ, τ) carry charges, which are sources of electronic, muonic and tauonic massless vector particles (photons), respectively. Various manifestations of these hypothetical photons are discussed. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Scalars with lepton number violating interactions decaying into lepton pairs, as those mediating the see-saw of type II, always include doubly-charged components. If these are observed at the LHC, their electroweak quantum numbers can be determined through their leptonic decays in pair and single production. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Starting by the idea that leptons might play a role in the realm of elementary particles similar to that of the rare gas atoms (which have only weak Van der Waals forces) with respect to the other atoms (which display also strong valence forces), it is speculated on a possible structure of leptons and thus it is proposed a new possible approach to the study of these particles
