AbstractAbstract
[en] The nuclear level densities of 44,45Sc and 50,51V have been measured using the Oslo method. From the level density thermal properties such as entropy and temperature are deduced. Also the radiative strength functions (RSF) of 50,51V have been extracted. The gross properties of the RSF are generally described by the low-energetic tail of the giant electric dipole resonance (GEDR). At γ energies below ∼ 3 MeV, the RSFs show an unexpected enhancement

AbstractAbstract
[en] The evaluated spectroscopic data are presented for known nuclides of mass 58 (Ca,Sc,Ti,V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn). Excited-state data are nonexistent for 58Ca, 58Sc, and 58Zn; and very scarce for 58Ti and 58V, with only one tentative level in each case. Except for half-lives, no other radioactive decay data are available for the decay of 58Sc and 58Ti. The radioactive decays of 58V, 58Cr and 58Zn are not considered as well established. Superdeformed structures are known in 58Ni (two bands) and in 58Cu (one band). Prompt proton decay of high-spin states in 58Ni for eight levels and prompt α decay for two states have been identified. In 58Cu, one high-spin state decays by prompt proton emission. Very complex high-spin structures are now known for 58Ni from the work by 2009Jo03.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The neutron-rich nuclei57,5821Sc,58-6022Ti,60-6323V,62-6624Cr have been produced at Ganil via interactions of a 61.8A MeV 76Ge beam with a 58Ni target. Beta-decay studies have been performed using combined β- and γ-ray spectroscopy. Half-lives have been determined and β-decay schemes are proposed for 58Ti, 61V and 62Cr. From these studies, new hints for the existence of β-decaying isomers in 60V and in 62Mn are provided. These results are compared to shell model calculations. The role of the πf7/2- νf5/2 proton-neutron interaction is examined through its influence on the lifetime values. (orig.)
