AbstractAbstract
[en] The production of Ds- relative to Ds+ as a function of xF with 600 GeV/c Σ- beam is measured in the interval 0.15< xF<0.7 by the SELEX (E781) experiment at Fermilab. The integrated charge asymmetries with 600 GeV/c Σ- beam (0.53±0.06) and π- beam (0.06±0.11) are also compared. The results show the Σ- beam fragments play a role in the production of Ds-, as suggested by the leading quark model

AbstractAbstract
[en] Coherent Λπ- production on Pb of 600 GeV Σ- hyperons has been studied with the SELEX facility at Fermilab. Using the Primakoff formalism, we set a 90% CL upper limit on the radiative decay width Γ[Σ(1385)-→Σ-γ]<9.5 keV, and estimate the cross section for γΣ-→Λπ- at √s∼1.385 GeV to be 56±16 μb

AbstractAbstract
[en] A short overview of investigations of exotic nuclei by proton scattering at low energy is presented. Proton scattering at intermediate energy as a method to study the structure of exotic nuclei is discussed. The experimental study of nuclear matter distributions in 6He and 8He nuclei by 0.7 GeV proton elastic scattering at small angles is described

AbstractAbstract
[en] Preliminary results of the exclusive study of p(α,α'')X reaction at the alpha particle momentum 7 GeV/c are presented. The missing mass spectra show fast change of the reaction mechanism in the range of the momenta of the scattered alpha particle between 6.12 and 6.70 GeV /c. The mechanism of the Δ-resonance excitation in the projectile is confirmed. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Resonance Ionization Spectroscopy has entered the arsenal of main experimental techniques which are used nowadays in nuclear physics. The principle of RIS, experimental efforts in studying radioactive nuclei and a few examples of physical results are presented. Some new versions of RIS are shortly discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] The reaction cross sections for the interaction of exotic nuclei 6He and 11Li with 12C nuclei are calculated for energies of about 0.8 GeV per nucleon. The cross sections calculated by the exact Glauber formula are compared with their counterparts found by using the formulas of the optical limit, the rigidtarget approximation, and the few-body approximation. The effect of the structure of the nuclei being considered on the calculated cross sections is examined. The root-mean-square radii of the 6He and 11Li nuclei are estimated on the basis of experimental data on the cross sections for the interaction of these exotic nuclei with 12C nuclei

AbstractAbstract
[en] In order to clear up the sensitivity of the nucleus-nucleus scattering to the nuclear matter distributions in exotic halo nuclei, we have calculated differential cross sections for elastic scattering of the 6He and 11Li nuclei on several nuclear targets at the energy of 0.8 GeV/nucleon with different assumed nuclear density distributions in 6He and 11Li.

AbstractAbstract
[en] We present a measurement of the forward-backward charge asymmetry (AFB) in p(bar p) → Z/γ* + X → e+e- + X events at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV using 1.1 fb-1 of data collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. AFB is measured as a function of the invariant mass of the electron-positron pair, and found to be consistent with the standard model prediction. We use the AFB measurement to extract the effective weak mixing angle sin2 θWeff = 0.2327 ± 0.0018 (stat.) ± 0.0006 (syst.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] We calculate the differential cross sections for proton elastic scattering on the exotic halo nuclei 6He and 8He at energies around ~0.7 GeV at the momentum transfers squared up to 0.30 (GeV/c)2 and investigate the influence of the nucleon centre-of-mass correlations on the calculated cross sections. In particular, we show that the approximate account of the centre-of-mass correlations used previously considerably overestimates the cross sections at high values of the momentum transfer.

AbstractAbstract
[en] We report a search for R-parity violating production and decay of sneutrino particles in the eμ final state with 1.04 ± 0.06 fb-1 of data collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider in 2002-2006. Good agreement between the data and the standard model prediction is observed. With no evidence for new physics, we set limits on the R-parity violating couplings λ'311 and λ312 as a function of sneutrino mass
