AbstractAbstract
[en] Xenon-127 was standardized by internal gas counting using three proportional counters in a differential arrangement to eliminate edge effects. The detection efficiency of the proportional counters was calculated by considering the cascade of events following the electron capture and associated gamma transitions. Activity per unit volume was measured with 0.7% relative standard uncertainty. Gamma-ray spectrometry was performed and absolute photon emission intensities were derived. This study shows that 127Xe could be a surrogate for 133Xe for the calibration of remote radio–xenon monitoring stations. - Highlights: • 127Xe standardized by internal gas counting using three proportional counters. • Activity per unit volume measured with 0.7% relative uncertainty. • Photon emission intensities derived using gamma-ray spectrometry. • 127Xe could be 133Xe surrogate to calibrate remote radio–xenon monitoring stations

AbstractAbstract
[en] This evaluation was completed in November 2007. The literature available by October 2007 was included. Decay Scheme: 252Cf disintegrates by α emissions mainly to the 248Cm ground state level, and by spontaneous fission for 3,086 (8)%. In the Tables part, the data are then normalized to 96,914 (3) alpha decays. The calculated Q value of 6217 (26) keV deduced from the decay scheme data, for the α decay, is in agreement with the value of 6216,87 (4) keV from Audi et al. (2003Au03)

[en] This evaluation was completed in 2008. Literature available by January 2008 was included. Decay Scheme: 210Bi disintegrates by beta minus emission to the ground state level of 210Po. Weak alpha transitions to excited levels of 206Tl have been observed (1.40 (15) 10-4%). Spins and parities are from the ENSDF mass-chain evaluations E. Browne (2003Br13 for A = 210). For 206Tl, spins and parities are from L. I. Rusinov measurements (1961Ru02)

AbstractAbstract
[en] This evaluation was completed in 2006. This updated version was done in January 2007. The literature available by this date is included. Decay Scheme: 226Ra disintegrates by alpha emissions mainly to the 186 keV level and to the ground state level of 222Rn. Spin and parity are from the mass-chain evaluation of Y. A. Akovali (1996El01 and 1996Ak02). A certain number of measurements of the 186-keV gamma intensity were carried out and the adopted data set is consistent, so the deduced intensity can be considered having a good level of confidence. Therefore, the decay scheme here was built from the gamma-ray intensity measurements. A good agreement was found between the effective Q value (4870.5 (27) keV) calculated from the decay scheme data and the adopted and recommended value from Audi

AbstractAbstract
[en] This evaluation was completed in 2007. Literature available by October 2007 has been included. Decay Scheme: 210Pb disintegrates by beta minus emission to an excited level and to the ground state level of 210Bi. A weak alpha transition to the 206Hg ground state has been observed (1.9 (4) 10-6%). Spins and parities are from the ENSDF mass-chain evaluations by E. Browne (2003Br13 for A = 210) and R. G. Helmer (1990He18 for A = 206). The good agreement found between the adopted Q(β-) value of Audi and the effective Q(β-) value of 63.9 (11) keV calculated from decay scheme data indicates the completeness and correctness of the decay scheme

[en] This evaluation was completed in 2007. Literature available by January 2007 was included. The half-life value was re-evaluated in Dec. 2010 in order to include the Martz's result. Decay Scheme; 218Po disintegrates by alpha emission mainly (99.978 (3)%) to the ground state level of 214Pb. A weak beta minus emission (0.022 (3)%) to At-218 has been pointed out. Spin and parity are from the mass-chain evaluation of Y. A. Akovali (1987El12, 1995El08, 1998Ak04 for A = 218 and 1995El07 for A = 214) and A. K. Jain (2006Ja03 for A = 218). A good agreement was found between the recommended Q value of Audi and the effective Q value of 6113.33 (22) keV for the α branch, calculated from the decay scheme data
