[en] In an optical spark chamber experiment a sample of 80 eta Dalitz decays (eta→e+e-γ) have been obtained and the eta electromagnetic form factor has been measured to be F(X)=1.0 - (0.22+-0.45)X, where X=M2sub(ee)/M2sub(eta), and the branching ratio (eta→e+e-γ)/eta→π+π-π0)=(0.0082+-0.0020). AbstractAbstract
[en] A search has been made for the decay eta→π0e+e- in an optical spark chamber experiment at the Rutherford Laboratory. The observations are consistent with no events being seen and give an upper limit. Rate (eta→π0e+e-)/Rate (eta→ALL)<4.5x10-5(90%C.L.). (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Data on the charge-exchange reaction π-p → (π+π-π0)n have been taken at beam momenta of 12 and 15 GeV/c, using the CERN Omega Multiparticle Spectrometer. A partial-wave analysis has been made of the (3π)0 system. Both natural and unnatural spin-parity production is observed. The natural parity states can be identified with established resonances. In addition a natural spin-parity enhancement is observed at a mass of about 2 GeV/c2 with Jsup(P) = 4+ preferred. This effect is called the A2*(2030). The unnatural spin-parity production found is consistent with reggeized Deck model predictions. No unambiguous A1 or A3 production is observed. (Auth.)
