AbstractAbstract
[en] The results on the recent experiments on the μ+ spin rotation (μ+SR) carried out at the TRIUMF are outlined. The physics of muonim production is discussed, and the comparison of the behaviour of the μ+ with the one of the light H isotope is made. Applications of the μ+ SR method to physical chemistry are described. Preliminary results of a number of experiments carried out in vacuum, gases liquids and solids are given. All the data confirm the assumption that the μ+ behaves exactly like a light isotope of the hydrogen nucleus

AbstractAbstract
[en] Delayed muonium formation via electron transport to the positive muon in semi-insulating GaP has been studied using a muon spin rotation technique with alternating electric fields. The characteristic electric field of about 50 kV/cm suggests that formation of a ground state muonium atom proceeds through an intermediate weakly bound hydrogen-like state. Results are justified within the framework of the effective mass approximation

AbstractAbstract
[en] The 6th International Conference on Muon Spin Rotation/Relaxation/Resonance (μSR) was held at the Maui Intercontinental Resort, Wailea, Maui, Hawaii from June 6 to June 11, 1993. It was immediately preceded by a Summer School on μSR at the same location from May 31 to June 4. The Summer School was attended by over 60 students and lecturers, most of whom stayed for the Conference, which was attended by a total of over 120 participants. The author lists the titles and authors of papers presented, arranged by topic
