[en] An experiment carried out in the electron-positron storage ring VEPP-2M with the Neutral Detector has demonstrated the existence of the decay ω→π0e+e- and has measured its relative probability BR(ω→π0e+e-) = (0.59 +- 0.19)x10-3. An upper limit has also been established for the probability of the decay phi→π0e+e-: BR(phi→π0e+e-)<1.2x10-4

[en] Experimental data obtained in the Neutral Detector at the e+e- storage ring VEPP-2M in the interval of energies 2E from 0.5 to 1.4 GeV have been used to establish for the first time upper limits of the electron widths of the C-even mesons: Γ(eta'→e+e-)<0.06 eV, Γ( f0(975)→e+e-)<8.4 eV, Γ( f2(1270)→e+e-)<1.7 eV, Γ( f0(1300)→e+e-)<20 eV, Γ(a0(980)→e+e-)xBr(a0(980)→π0eta)<1.5 eV, and Γ(a2(1320)→e+e-)<25 eV at the 90% confidence level

[en] The Neutral Detector at the electron-positron collidor VEPP-2M has been used to observe the rare decay rho→π+π-γ with a relative probability BR(rho→π+π-γ) = (1.11 + 0.14).10/sup -2/ for photon energy >50 MeV. The decay probability and the shape of the photon energy spectrum agree with the bremsstrahlung mechanism of decay. A limit is established on the probability of structure radiation: BR(rho→π+π-γ)/sub s/<5x10-3 at the 90% confidence level

[en] Measurements of the cross section for the process e+e-→π+π- are reported in the energy interval 2E=0.66--1.4 GeV outside of the ω and φ resonances. The value of the cross section for 2E<1.1 GeV agrees with a calculation in the vector-dominance model, but at 2E>1.1 GeV a significant excess of the cross section is observed in comparison with the predictions of the vector-dominance model with inclusion of only the ω and φ resonances

[en] The relative decay probability B(φ → ηγ) = (1.259 ± 0.030 ± 0.059)% in the decay channel η → π+π-π0 has been measured in an experiment using a spherical neutral detector in the VEPP-2M electron-positron storage ring. The result agrees with the tabulated value and with measurements of this probability using the spherical neutral detector in other η-meson decay channels
