AbstractAbstract
[en] The 104Cd, 105Cd nuclei have been investigated in the 102Pd(α,nγ)104Cd, 102Pd(α,nγ)105Cd and 102Pd(α,3nγ)105Cd reactions. The proposed level schemes including states up to 4817.7 keV and 3342.9 keV for 104Cd and 105Cd respectively are based on results obtained from direct and delayed γ-ray spectra, excitation functions, γ-γ coincidences and γ-ray angular distributions. Intense E2 cascades have been observed in 104Cd nucleus. Decoupled bands built on the νhsub(11/2) and on νgsub(7/2) are populated in 105Cd

AbstractAbstract
[en] Excited states of 103Cd were populated by the 94Mo(12C,3n)103Cd reaction at 54 MeV. The dominant feature of the level scheme is the occurrence of a cascade of strong stretched E2 transitions based on the 7/2+ first excited state. Spins and parities are proposed, and the strengths of the gamma transitions are indicated. The quasi particle + rotor model reproduced the experimental data well. 2 figures

AbstractAbstract
[en] Levels of 106Cd, populated by 104Pd(α, 2nγ)106Cd have been studied measuring direct and delayed γ-ray spectra, γ-γ coincidences and γ-ray angular distributions. A decay level scheme is proposed including states up tp 4,659.8 keV. Intense E2 transition cascades have been observed. The half-life of an isomeric level located at 4,659.8 keV has been measured: Tsub(1/2) = 62 +- 6 ns. (orig.)

Ein Zerfallschema, das Zustaende bis 4.659,8 keV einschliesst, wird vorgeschlagen. Intensive E2 Kaskaden sind beobachtet worden. AbstractAbstract
[en] A considerable amount of experimental works has been recently done on the light Cadmium isotopes. The main purpose of these studies was to search for Coriolis decoupling mechanism in a transitional region. Negative and positive parity bands occuring in 105Cd, 107Cd, 109Cd, 111Cd have been correctly reproduced within the rotor-plus-particle model using self-consistent prolate core single-particle states. The aim of the present work is using HI reactions, to search for the high spin states in 103Cd where only two low-lying levels are known so far, from on-line radioactivity studies, and to check whether this theoretical description remains still satisfactory

AbstractAbstract
[en] The 108Cd and 106Cd isotopes have been studied from the β+/EC decay of sup(108m+g)In and sup(106m+g)In, with the ISOCELE facility. Gamma-ray, conversion electron γ-γ-t and e--γ-t coincidence measurements have been performed and level schemes of 108Cd and 106Cd have been built. A O+ excited state has been clearly established at 1913.2 keV in 108Cd. The properties of the excited states are discussed in terms of vibrator + particle approach and interacting boson approximation. The present results lead us to assign the spin and parity value Isup(π) = 7+ for the isomeric state in 108In and 106In, this is discussed in the framework of the j-j coupling model

AbstractAbstract
[en] Level properties of 185Ir were investigated by in-beam γ-spectroscopy using (α,4n) and (α,6n) reactions with Esub(α) ranging from 41 to 77 MeV. A well-developed system of levels built on the hsub(9/2) subshell is excited. A band built on the 11/2- isomeric state is also observed. In distinction from heavier Ir isotopes, only a single positive parity band is developed to high-spin states. Two isomers with Tsub(1/2)=120 ns and 40 ns are found for excitation energies above 22 MeV. The experimental results are discussed in terms of rotational models including the Coriolis coupling and providing for a stable triaxial shape of the 185Ir nucleus. (Auth.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Gamma and conversion electron lines following the β-decay of 118120122Cs nuclei have been investigated at the ISOLDE facility. Evidence has been found for two isomeric states with similar half-lives in 118120Cs. Level schemes of 118120122Xe including levels of the quasi-ground state, gamma and beta bands have been established. The structure of these nuclei is discussed in the framework of the rotational model and the vibrational limit of the interacting boson approximation (IBA) approach. (Auth.)
