AbstractAbstract
[en] The dispersion relation of waves on an intense relativistic electron beam and a small signal space charge wave theory relevant to modulation of an intense relativistic electron beam in klystron amplifier are described. It is found that the effect of intense current space charge modifies the classical klystron description in the drift tube region and shortens the drift length of the maximum modulated current. In an experiment, a 9.8% modulated current is generated from the voltage 500 kV, current 3 kA, pulse width 1.4 μs hollow electron beams modulated by 70 kW input microwave power

AbstractAbstract
[en] A simple, sensitive and selective determination method of oxalate has been investigated based on the fluorescence enhancement of Eu3+ -TTA, complex due to the formation of Eu3+ -TTA-oxalate ternary complex. An emission peak of Eu3+ -TTA, which is increased linearly with addition of oxalate, occurs at 610 nm in aqueous solution with excitation at 306 nm. The linear range of the calibration curve is 1 x10-6 -8 x 10-6 M and the detection limit is 1 x 10-6 M. The effects of foreign ions were studied. The present method was applied to determine oxalate of two synthetic samples

AbstractAbstract
[en] Annular intense beam for relativistic klystron can offer much higher DC power. Even the efficiency is decreased, a higher radiation can be expected. At the same time, annular intense beam can provide electrostatic insulation, thereby preventing the RF breakdown across a gap that is normally expected in the generation of high power RF. More than 5 MW radiation is observed

AbstractAbstract
[en] General solutions of the Smorodinsky—Winternitz system and the Fokas—Lagerstorm system, which are superintegrable in two-dimensional Euclidean space, are obtained using the algebraic method (structure function). Their dynamical symmetries, which are governed by deformed angular momentum algebras, are revealed. (rapid communication)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The article has all-around discussed the basic elements and characteristics of nuclear power plant environmental monitoring system, centering on the choice of gamma radiation detector, and the network mode, as well as anti-jamming design. Also, the arguments are aimed at the purpose and necessity of the nuclear power plant environmental monitoring system building. The network of power plant environmental monitoring system is a complicated process. The system is so special that we will meet some questions and difficulties when building the network. The paper also demonstrates the specific solutions to the questions and difficulties of network in some details. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] An attempt has been made to characterize the colour spectrum of methane flame under various burning conditions using RGB and HSV colour models instead of resolving the real physical spectrum. The results demonstrate that each type of flame has its own characteristic distribution in both the RGB and HSV space. It has also been observed that the averaged B and G values in the RGB model represent well the CH* and C*2 emission of methane premixed flame. Theses features may be utilized for flame measurement and monitoring. The great advantage of using a conventional camera for monitoring flame properties based on the colour spectrum is that it is readily available, easy to interface with a computer, cost effective and has certain spatial resolution. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that a conventional digital camera is able to image flame not only in the visible spectrum but also in the infrared. This feature is useful in avoiding the problem of image saturation typically encountered in capturing the very bright sooty flames. As a result, further digital imaging processing and quantitative information extraction is possible. It has been identified that an infrared image also has its own distribution in both the RGB and HSV colour space in comparison with a flame image in the visible spectrum

AbstractAbstract
[en] The integrodifferential equation of instantaneous current and beam kinetic energy are presented. The relationship among the normalized beam current, the kinetic energy of the beam and the normalized distance are calculated using the Matlab-based numerical method including the progressive deduction method, the central difference method and the trapezoidal integration. The normalized factor based on conservation of charge is introduced as well. Finally, the mode strength versus the propagation distance is included. (authors)
