AbstractAbstract
[en] Using 2 fb-1 of Υ(4S) data taken with the CLEO II detector at CESR, the authors have looked for the decay, B → D*0γ. This radiative decay is important in understanding the W-exchange/annihilation diagram contributions and the long distance effects on the more exotic radiative penguin decays such as b → sγ and b → dγ

AbstractAbstract
[en] Using the new data accumulated at CLEO over the past year, the authors have updated their search for the decays, B → ργ and B → ωγ, and their measurement of B → K*γ. They combine these measurements with different theoretical models to find an upper limit on the ratio between the CKM matrix elements, Vtd and Vts

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the report, in order to improve the fire retardancy better Chloroprene Rubber (CR) after adding each fixed amount of inorganic metallic hydroxide, and then compared and assessed fire retardancy with electrical properties and mechanical properties we intended to choose the most excellent additives. Also according to Co60 γ-ray irradiation, we compared electrical, echanical and fire retardant characteristics to analyse to have the additives of inorganic filler effect on CR's antirad characteristic. In result, CR containing inorganic additive, advanced considerably fire retardant characteristics, but seems to be tended to declined electrical and mechanical characteristics on the whole. In syntherically comparison, the specimen viewed the most excellent characteristics is CR containing Magnesium hydroxide. As to Co60 γ-ray irradiated Chloroprene rubber containing inorganic additives, fire retardant characteristic are improved, but electrical and mechanical properties are deteriorated as a function of radiation dose. Comparing before irradiation and after irradiation, the best inorganic filler into CR consider Magnesium hydroxide. In this report, in case of adding 30 phr of inorganic filler to CR we observed fire retardancy and radiation resistance characteristics change in according to the kinds of additives, but the research for choosing the optimum amount of additives is considered to progress from now on as adjusting the amount of additives presented excellent characteristics

AbstractAbstract
[en] We have carried out a direct search in bulk matter for free fractional electric charge elementary particles using the largest mass single sample ever studied--about 17.4 mg of silicone oil. The search used an improved and highly automated Millikan oil drop technique. No evidence for fractional charge particles was found. The concentration of particles with fractional charge more than 0.16e (e being the magnitude of the electron charge) from the nearest integer charge is less than 4.71x10-22 particles per nucleon with 95% confidence. AbstractAbstract
[en] Urinary tract infection in children is common and recurrent especially combined with anatomical and functional abnormalities. Radiological analysis of the 68 cases of urinary tract infection who were admitted to the pediatric department of Yong Dong Severance Hospital from Apr. 1983 to Aug. 1985 were subjected in this study. The results were as follows: 1. Urinary tract infection was more common in male under 1 year of age, but increasing with age more prevalent tendency in female. 2. Clinical manifestations on admission were fever, urinary frequency, flank pain, gross hematuria and etc. 3. Urinalysis disclosed pyuria in 60%, hematuria in 47%, and bacteriuria in 7%. Escherichia coli was the most common strain and Klebsiella species, Enterococcus, Proteus species were common in descending order. 4. In the radiologic findings, the patients of refluxed cases showed more changes in the size of kidney and damage of renal parenchyma. And also they were more combined with anatomical abnormalities. 5. VCUG findings according to the grade of reflux showed more extensive changes of kidney itself, ureter and bladder with increasing of the grade of VUR. 6. Over 6 months follow-up, the initial scarring were aggravated and getting worse although treatment.

AbstractAbstract
[en] Data on the electrochemical activation of various reactions involving organometallic compounds are generalised. Primary attention is devoted to the key types of transformation that can be performed using electrochemical electron transfer, namely, redox activation of 16- and 18-electron complexes of transition metals as the first step of a broad range of reactions, electrocatalysis, mediator processes, and electrosynthesis of compounds containing carbon-metal σ-bonds. The bibliography includes 188 references.
