[en] Purposing to determine the mean square radii of Li isotopes, differential cross-sections analysis of the reactions π-+6Li → π++X and π-+7Li → π++X in the hard part of pion's momentum spectrum has been carried out. The data are in good agreement with the results obtained for √< r2> in other reactions

[en] Differential cross sections for π-6Li→π+X and π-7Li→π+X inclusive reactions in the hard port of pulse spectrUm of π+-mesons are measured under similar experimental conditions. Comparanstive study on difference of the obtained cross sections with difference of cross sections in the π-p→π+X and π-d→π+X reactions is conducted. It is disclosed that in the region of masses Msub(x)sup(2)=(Esub(πsup(-))-Esub(πsUp(+))+Msub(p))sup(2)-(Psub(πsup(-)) vector-Psub(πsUp(+)) vector)sup(2) < 1.5 GeV2 the values of both differences coincide in the limit of experimental errors while for Msub(x)sup(2) > 1.5 GeV2 difference of cross sections on lithim isotopes is close to zero in contrast to noticeable difference of cross sections on hydrogen and deuterium

Cross-section is estimated. dsigma/du=(241+87) μb/(Gev/c)2 for the momentum transfered squared. U=0.181(Gev/c)2. The results are compared with theoretical calculations for triangular mechanism of the reaction

[en] The design and test results of an eight-channel wide-aperture threshold Cherenkov detector for 6 atm. pressure, 1.0x1.6 m2 aperture with 1.5 m long radiator are described. The detector is necessary for identification of charged particles escaping from the magnet window of the 3-m spectrometer in a wide range of coordinates and angles. It is supposed to be used, primarily, for separation of protons and π+-mesons in experiments on study of πN-interactions with baryon exchange

[en] The inclusive cross section of the π-+p→π++all reaction is measured for the fragmentation range of an incident particle at 2.69 and 3.25 GeV/c. At 3.25 GeV/c dependences of the invariant cross section rho (x,psub(tr)sup(2)) on the square of transverse momentum psub(tr)sup(2) are obtained for the fixed intervals of the Feynman variable x. It has been found that rho(x,psub(tr)sup(2)) for 0.6(<=)x(<=)0.94 and psub(tr)sup(2)=0.03 (GeV/c)2 at 2.69 and 3.25 GeV/c coincide within the errors. The measured invariant cross section is compared with data obtained at higher energies. It is shown that, unlike the target fragmentation range, no scale invariance in this reaction is observed in the fragmentation range of the incident particle up to 11-16 GeV/c. If the invariant cross section is presented in the form of rho approximately exp [-A(x)xpsub(tr)sup(2)], the parameter A(x) appears to be equal for 3.25 and 16 GeV/c at 0.7(<=)x(<=)0.95
