AbstractAbstract
[en] Two types of calorimeters for direct measurement of particle energy in expanding laser plasma are described. The first one contains the reception unit in the form of dielectric mirror, reflecting laser radiation and is supplied with additional compensating unit. The second one contains the reception unit, which is transparent for laser radiation. It is shown that measurement error, conditioned by laser radiation absorption, is ≤5% for both calorimeters. Layout of the detector for evaluting error, conditioned by energy losses for re-emission is presented, experimental results are given

AbstractAbstract
[en] A collector for measuring ion and electron current as well as neutral particle energy of laser plasma in one and the same angular aperture is described. Good agreement of the results of measuring ion signals of the collector with ionic current of the Faraday cylinder, which permits to carry out absolute measurements is found. A technique for measuring ion mass-charge mean ratio is suggested. Data on the energy of ions and neutral particles in plasma as well as estimations of energy carried away by fast electrons are presented

[en] Consideration is given to scenario of plasma current break-down in the ITER tokamak. Design circuit, taking account of structural units inside the vacuum chamber is described. Results of calculating eddy currents, electrodynamic loads and the rate of poloidal field variation are given for the chamber, the blanket, divertor an other structural units in plasma current break-down. The dependence of obtained results on degree of blanket sectionalization, as well as on the value of electric resistance of resistive inserts of the chamber and contact resistance of blanket moduli is analyzed. 4 refs.; 8 figs.; 6 tabs

[en] The problem on numerical simulation of nonstationary electromagnetic processes for a dynamic model of the plasma in tokamak is considered; the calculational results of the ITER vacuum chamber when upsetting plasma current of eddy currents, electrodynamic loads and the rate of change in a tangent component of the magnetic field at the OTP superconductor are presented. Shielding operation of the ITER vacuum chamber when starting discharge is calculated. [en] A method for numerical simulation of transient electromagnetic processes in conducting tokamak structures taking into account the evolution of location and shape of MHD-equilibrium plasma filament cross section is proposed. The plasma current disruption process in the compact tokamak designed for investigating the fusion burning physics is analyzed. It is shown that transition from static to dynamic plasma filament models results in the 1.5-2-fold increase of peaks and essential variation of the design electrodynamical loads on the discharge chamber. Plasma current profile flattening in the initial disruption phase leads to appearance of backswings on the time-dependent load curves, and vertical plasma displacement in the final current disruption phase taken into account results in the occurrence of vertical forces acting on the chamber as a whole body, as well as great horizontal forces applied to the sector faces. 12 refs.; 7 figs.; 2 tabs
