AbstractAbstract
[en] Production process of exploseve cathodes on the base of carbon-fibrous plastic material of any geometric form and size is discussed. Experimental study of current take-off from cathodes with diameter 2 cm of 10 kV and 150-250 kV voltage are given. It is shown that ignition voltage of cathode plasma is 2 kV with 5 mm gap electrode of diode and 5 ·10-5 Tor pressure of residual gas. It is shown that carbon-fibrous cathode, made by this technology, provides more stable current take-off electron beam (withoud oscillations) in comparison with other cathodes

[en] The description and test results for a functional of the system for commutation of the U-70 synchrotron overbunching HF station channels are given. In coaxial line the pass spark gap is located and in the T-joint-the short-circuit trigatron type one. The experiments were conducted at the impulse power of 100-300 kW. Types of spark gaps were selected and their characteristics were obtained. Carbon plastic proved to be the most perspective material for the electrodes. The experiments showed applicability of the layout suggested. 3 refs.; 4 figs

[en] A general view and main parameters of the nuclotron beam transport lines are presented. The chosen scheme makes it possible to realize the injection of heavy ions with 5 MeV/nucleon energy and slow exctraction over a wide range in the existing directions of the synchcrophasotron. Since the ring of the nuclotron is placed at -3.9 m level relatively to the equipment available, the beam transport lines must be with horisontal and vertical bends of the beam. The interactive computer program and calcultions of the channels performed by means of it are presented. The injection line is intended for beam transport from the linac to nuclotron and includes 10 quadrupole lenses with G ≤ 5 T m gradients and 2 dipole magnets. The maximum size of the beam in channel is 72 mm. The SE1 and SE2 lines transport the beam from the nuclotron to existing channels, in the experimental halls. They include 11 and 3 quadrupole lenses (G∼34 T/m), respectively, 3 and 7 dipole magnets. The beam sizes in the channels are less than 62 mm

[en] A fabrication process for explosive emission cathodes on the base of carbon plastic fibre of practically any geometrical shape and dimensions is developed. Experimental studies of electron beam current collection from cathodes, 2cm in diameter, at voltages across the diode of 10 and 150-250kV. It is shown that the ignition voltage for cathode plasma is ∼2kV at the interelectrode diode gap of 5mm and residual gas pressure of ∼5x10-5Torr. The carbon-fibre cathode, fabricated in this way, provides more stable current collection of an electron beam (without oscillations) than other cathodes
