AbstractAbstract
[en] During reactor operation the absorber is suspended on a holding device above the reactor core and in the shutdown case is dropped into the reactor core by gravity acceleration. In order to improve shutdown the absorber is additionally accelerated by pulling it from below into the reactor core by spring force. Jamming of the absorber in its guide tube is avoided by its consisting of several elements that can be flexibly moved with respect to each other and by its being only loaded intension. (DG)

AbstractAbstract
[en] After a presentation of the development of gaseous energy carriers up to now, the present situation of the coal gas as well as the state and the aims of the coal gasification are reported. The cost structure of the gas economy changes with the application of coal gasification. Furthermore the article describes: a) the gasification of coal by steam-reforming using process heat from high-temperature nuclear reactors, b) the thermal efficiencies of the production of the different synthetic fuels dependent on the helium outlet temperature of the high-temperature nuclear reactors, c) the layout of a plant for the production of town gas using process heat, and d) the state of development of the application of nuclear process heat to coal gasification. Long-term behaviour of heat-resistant steels and high-temperature materials1987
AbstractAbstract
[en] In order to obtain information on the material behaviour of Nimonic 90 with and without cold forming at the main temperature of use of 560deg C for large gas turbine blades, creep and relaxation samples were taken from the large volume foot of a gas turbine blade, part of which were tensioned by 3% cold in a tensile test machine. The selected cold forming was obtained as the upper limit from DMS measurements on a gas turbine blade when aligning. The negative effect of cold forming on the creep behaviour known from the literature for other γ hardened nickel base alloys was confirmed. The grain (matrix) is strengthened and the grain boundary is simultaneously weakened by cold forming. The material is also sensitized, so that fine separation occurs in the grain at the sliding bands and at the grain boundaries. Both circumstances contribute to the worsening of the creep behaviour, significantly for stresses below the technical elastic limit in the cold formed state. It follows, relative to large gas turbine blades, that: 1) Aligning operations must be restricted to the absolute minimum necessary and should be avoided completely if possible. 2) Aligned blades should be subjected to renewed solution annealing and separation hardening. 3.) Blades deformed in operation should also be subjected to renewed complete heat treatment. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Central data pools which fulfil most of the requirements of science and practice are both expensive and manpower-intensive because of the vast quantities of data involved, uncertainty regarding material composition, disregarded parameter influences, insufficient reliability, and problems of copyright. A worldwide survey reveals the existence of a wide variety of data pools which are underused because they are not known. The paper cites literature listing such pools. One of the recommendations in the paper is to cooperate in transferring all available data of a material into its ''data matrix'' - thus exposing the gaps that are still left. This would be a relatively inexpensive stop towards improved data supply. (orig.)

(orig.)Original Title

AbstractAbstract
[en] Sufficient conditions are given for the possibility to construct quantum mechanical wavefunctions by the sole knowledge of an appropriate sequence of classical canonical transformations which map a given Hamiltonian onto the new position variable. The transformation matrix element for each individual step of this sequence is given by the semiclassical limit expression of these matrix elements; it is a function of the generator of this transformation step only. The wavefunction, i.e. the transformation matrix element for the total transformation, is obtained as a multiple integral over the transformation matrix elements of the various intermediate steps. The practicability of this procedure is demonstrated by several examples. In this paper time-independent systems with one degree of freedom, are considered. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] It is shown how quantum mechanical wavefunctions can be obtained from a sequence of simple canonical transformations, which map the given system onto a simple reference system. The resulting wavefunctions are at least uniformly valid up to order (h/2π). Under some more restrictive conditions for the individual transformation steps the exact wavefunctions are found. The essential point of this paper is to enlarge the conventional coordinate-momentum phase space by taking time and energy as an additional conjugate pair. In this extended phase space the possibility is exploited of using transformations which intermix energy and time with position coordinates and momenta. (author)
