AbstractAbstract
[en] The recently discovered heavy mesons have opened up a new field of elementary-particle physics. A short and up-to-date review of the most relevant results is presented. The unexpected properties of the new particles are presumably due to new degrees of freedom of the basic constituents of matter. Two theoretical models which incorporate new degrees of freedom, the 'charm' model and the 'color' model, are discussed. Surprisingly, both models have some initial success even though they are very different. A decision regarding which model is closer to the truth depends on the outcome of further experiments. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The extended technicolor model SU(8)containsSU(5)xSU(3)sub(c)xU(1)containsSUsub(T)sub(C)(3)xSUsub(w)(2)xSUsub(c)(3)xU(1) with fermion representations containing three quark lepton families attracts attention because of its unique technicolor coupling: it increases in the infrared circumventing a no-go theorem and furthermore stays big over the whole technicolor range. Hence an enhancement of fermion and pseudo goldstone masses proposed by Holdom might happen, allowing for a large sideways scale. A scalar field in the 1015 GeV range introduced in order to break an exact global flavour symmetry of the model is argued to influence strongly the vacuum alignment in the technicolor sector. It permits an explanation of the quark lepton mass pattern even without a detailed fit. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this paper is presented a method to find the conditions of existence for anisotropic different plasmas which present the same reflection coefficient. The analytical dependence of the complex reflection coefficient on the plasma parameters wao examinated. Then the numerical calculations were made with the use of a computer. The results of these calculations have been plotted on a special diagram thus allowing the direct determination of the plasma parameters ωsub(p)/ω, ωsub(b)/ω, ν/ω with the reflection coefficient being known from measurements and on of the above mentioned parameters, or to establish what are the distinct sets of values for the plasma parameters ωsub(p), ωsub(b), ν for which the same reflection coefficient is obtained. The method also could be applied in two both cases of plasma explored by means of TEM mode and by guided waves respectively. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] We employ the Wigner-Weisskopf method for a simultaneous treatment of decays, mass splittings and mixings of baryon resonances. Complex mixing matrices naturally arise in this context. Most of the amplitudes at resonance become also complex now and we make predictions for their phases. In spite of the doubling of the number of parameters in the mixing matrices the well-known discrepancies between decay and spectrum analyses still persist. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] One presents a rather complete review of the results so far obtained about the spectrum of the linear monoenergetic transport operator, mainly based on papers by Lehner, Wing, Joergens and Mika, and on some new results (part of them unpublished) of the authors. Several boundary conditions appearing in the linear transport are considered, some of which lead to completely solvable problems. Possible generalizations are mentioned in the last chapter. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] An attempt is made to classify the newly discovered heavy mesons into broken SU(3)' x SU(3)'' (color) multiplets. Mass formulas and decay properties are discussed in connection with a suggestive scheme of symmetry breaking. The model leads to numerous predictions which will soon allow it to be substantiated or rejected on the basis of experiment. One of them is the existence of a broad resonance at approx.4.8 GeV in the photon channel. From presently known experimental data or theoretical considerations no stringent objections arise; on the contrary, several facts do favor this approach

AbstractAbstract
[en] The paper presents the way to implement a Fuel Handling System (FHS) data base in order to carry out an informatic system for training, examination and knowledge evaluation. The sessions, are organized as ''ebooks'' represent a way of modern learning and thoroughness, examination and assessment of the professional knowledge. The use of these lessons for personnel training, working in the FHS area, leads both to the increase of the learning quality and reduction of the time for studying activities. The student is getting the advanced professional knowledge regarding the technological equipment operation by graduating the session. This e-learning system is designed and used to keep and develop, in time, deep in knowledge, about Fuelling Machine Head construction and working, for F/M Test Rig operators and technicians, from INR Pite.ti. The e-lessons for F/M snout clamp, magazine and separators have been already implemented, the rest of materials in data base is following. (authors)
