AbstractAbstract
[en] The capabilities of measurement of small specific activities of steel scrap by beta- and gamma-radiations of contamination radionuclides are compared taking into account criteria for unrestricted release. It is pointed out that measurements of levels of surface contaminations should be carried out by means of gas glow discharge beta-counters. Measurements of specific mass contamination levels of remelted scrap should be carried out by means of scintillation detector using the peak of total absorption of unscattered gamma-quantum energy

AbstractAbstract
[en] Principles of construction of the on-line measurement system for the purpose of computerization of physical experiments carrying out at critical assemblies are presented. The complex on the base of the ''Electronics-100I'' computer is described. Possibilities of the main complex may be expanded by a connection of additional external devices through a multiplexer: the arithmetic unit, real time clock, the monitor in parity, memory devices, graphical data units. The alphabet-numerical display device and printer, distant terminal and photoreader are connected with a multiplexer through an interface. Units for measuring on critical assemblies: units for fast menory and control of step-by-step engine and fast registers are used for information transformation, recording, and transmission besides serial and physical devices such as timers, multichannel analog-to-digital converter, and multidimensional amplitude-time analyzers. Information on neutron radiation comes from analogous detects into a computer through current and pulse channels. Software includes a set of programs carrying out arithmetics, elementary functions, preparation of program tests, program translation from the ASSEMBLER type languages and FORTRAN and FOKAL languages, means of adjustment and loading. Applied programs are presented allowing one to computerize acquisition and processing of information for a series of techniques used for measurements carrying out at critical assemblies

[en] The simple kinetic models applicability investigation for describing pulse experiments in fast reactors with slowing down moderators is performed. Spatial and time neutron flux distribution of various energy groups in the field of higher harmonics and in the asymptotic region is analyzed. The neutron flux is presented in the form of a series of eigenfunctions of a homogeneous equation for neutron flux which comprises as eigenvalues damping factors. On the base of the analysis a simplified two-region two-group kinetics model of reactors of the above class is suggested. It is shown that using this model permits to correctly interpret pulse experiments conducted in fast berrilium moderated reactors by means of the threshold neutron detector

[en] The technique of experimental investigation of time evolution of neutron spectra in medium in the nanosecond region during a short neutron pulse, using a californium chamber as a statistic pulse neutron source and a multichannel analyzer in the regime of multiple analysis, is considered. The results of investigation of nonstationary neutron spectra of leakage from the surface of the molybdenum sphere in the neutron energy range from 10.5 to 0.4 MeV and within the time interval from 0 to 130 ns are given. Experimental results are given in comparison with the calculation by the kinetic ROZ-V-1 program using group neutron BNAB constants. Considerable difference between calculated and experimental results is observed in the neutron energy range from 2.5 to 0.4 MeV. The difference observed is supposed to be connected with doubtfullness of neutron inelastic scattering constants for molybdenum in the used library
