AbstractAbstract
[en] The correlation of polarization of annihilation quanta has been measured in order to test the Bell's inequality. Significant violation of the Bell's inequality and the good agreement with predictions of quantum mechanics have been ascertained. (author). 9 refs, 2 figs

AbstractAbstract
[en] We propose a new, model independent method which can be used to analyse high quality data from inelastic scattering or charge exchange reactions. Such data contain resonances observed as bumps superimposed on a smooth continuum generally assumed to the background. The major problem in these studies is the decomposition of data into bumps originating from nuclear excitations and the underlying continuum. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The Bell's inequality has been experimentally tested using angular correlation of Compton-scattered photons from annihilation of positrons emitted from 22Na source. The result shows a better agreement with the quantum mechanics predictions rather than with the Bell's inequality

[en] A detector system MONA (Modular Neutron Array) was constructed to register neutrons of intermediate energy (0.5 MeV - 30 MeV). The set-up which can be used as an automatic detector or as a part of a greater modular detector is shortly presented. Its first application is described. 3 refs, 2 figs

AbstractAbstract
[en] The neutron spectrometer MONA (Modular Neutron Array) and its test has been described. The spectrometers consist of eight BC-501A liquid scintillator detectors of BICRON which allow one to distinguish between the pulses from gamma quanta and neutrons using pulse shape discrimination (PSD) method. The electronic equipment for the PSD and the test result using the 252Cf radioactive source are presented

AbstractAbstract
[en] The neutron detector MONA (MOdular Neutron Array) was used to measure neutron spectra originated in the 12C+89Y system. The neutron spectra were measured at six selected angles by TOF method at average laboratory energy of 49.5 MeV. The temperature of the source was determined through off-line analysis and was found to be 1.62 MeV. The level density parameter a, was determined within the framework of Fermi-gas model, to be equal to a=A/9.4. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Gamma spectra were measured and activities of the detected isotopes were analyzed for 206 high-activity particles (hot particles, HPs) found in northeastern Poland after the Chernobyl accident. The isotopic composition of HPs observed in gamma-activity is compared with that of the general fallout and core inventory calculations. Particle formation and a process of depletion in Ru and Cs isotopes are discussed. On the basis of a search performed a year later, some comments on the behavior of HPs in the soil are made
