AbstractAbstract
[en] The 36Cl(n, p)36S reaction cross section was measured by the time-of flight method in the pulsed reactor. The measured cross section shows three, not observed previously, neutron resonances wth energies Esub(n)=1.3; 3.5 and 8.2 keV for which there were determined the level width parameters Asub(p)=(γGITAsub(n)GITAsub(p)/GITA): 0.07+-0.01; 0.08+-0.03 and 1.7+-0.3 eV, respectively. The comparison of these results with the excited states obtained by the 36S(p, γ)37Cl reaction made possible a more exact determination of the scale-energy of the 37Cl nucleus excited states

[en] First experiments on determination of the averaged over resonances cross section of the 143Nd(n, α)140Ce reaction with the help of neutrons with energy of about 30 keV extracted from the electrostatic generator are described. The obtained cross section (20+-3)10-30 cm2 is used to estimate an average alpha-width which is compared with the average alpha width in neutron resonance range. Their values coincide within the accuracy of determination. This is in agreement with a conclusion made in statistical theory on the constancy of alpha width

[en] The measurements were performed on the neutron beam of the IBR-30 reactor. In distinction from the recent published works, thermal neutrons were separated by the flight time. The 35Cl(n,p) reaction cross section was determined by a comparison with the (n,p) and (n,α) reaction cross sections on 14N and 6Li. The ionization chamber was used to register the charged particles. Previously, investigations of the reaction on 35Cl were carried out mainly with the help of the activation method. Only in one experiment, reported over 50 years ago, an ionization chamber was used. Our measurements were performed with 8 targets of NaCl, KCl, LiF and C5H5N5 with different thicknesses. The 35Cl(n,p)35S reaction cross section for thermal neutrons turned out to be equal to (575±13) mb, that is noticeably higher than most of the recent published values. [en] The averaged cross section of the 95Mo(n, a)92Zr reaction in the 30 keV neutron energy region is measured. The 7Li(p, n) reaction served as neutron source. The measured cross section is in agreeemnt within errors with the averaged cross section for 30 keV neutrons, calculated in the framework of the statistical theory using parameters of the resonances obtained at neutron energies up to 1.2 keV

The obtained cross section (52+-8)x10-30 cm2 is used to estimate the averaged over spins ratio of the average α-width to the mean spacing between levels of compound nucleus. The comparison of the ratio obtained in the experiments with neutrons at 30 keV with the data obtained in the region of separated resonances (at neutron energies from 0 to 100 eV and from 100 to 200 eV) indicates a possible dependence of the α-width on neutron energy
