AbstractAbstract
[en] The results of observation of Braqg diffraction spectra by the time-of-flight method with the use of the variable width of the time channel are presented. The channel width increases proportionally to time. It is demonstrated that the use of the variable width of the time channel for observation of diffraction spectra makes it possible to decrease essentially the memory volume without spoiling observation conditions

AbstractAbstract
[en] The special crate controller in CAMAC system which provides the execution of analyser function by means of the ordinary CAMAC unit: analog-to-digital converter, memory device and interface of printer, is described. The crate controller itself provides the output on graphical and digital displays. Any serial input X oscilloscope can be used for data acquisition control. The CAMAC dataway is used only for information exchange between CAMAC units. Three operating modes are possible: ''Data acquisition'', ''Observation'', ''Printing''

AbstractAbstract
[en] Problems related to registration in wave vector space coordinates of neutron diffraction spectra measured by the time-of-flight spectrometer. It is shown that during data acquisition squeezing of information by a factor of ten is achieved. The PVK-1 programmed time coder with the time scale corresponding to a channel width growing proportionally to time squared is used to realize this method of spectrum acquisition. The programs to control the PVK-1 coder and some CAMAC blocks for spectra measuring are described

AbstractAbstract
[en] A universal time coder whose time scale can vary depending on a precalculated law is described. The coder contains a timer generator, a comparison circuit and an address device. The data computered prior to start of operation are stored in a memory device with capacity of 256 16 digit words. The basic specifications of the time coder are presented, namely the maximum numbers of channels (4096), the channel width variation range (1-65535 μs), and the maximum delay of measurement start (less than 0.1 s). The time coder is made in the CAMAC standard. The coder is intended for use in physical experiments involving the time-of-flight method

AbstractAbstract
[en] A variable channel width CAMAC standard time encoder is presented with up to 4096 channels. Minimal time increment 0.5 mcsec; initial channel width (1-999) mcsec; dead time (input) 0.5 mcs. Encoder and digital code comparison circuits are presented. The encoder cuts memory requirements for neutron physics time-of-flight experiments

AbstractAbstract
[en] Experimental data on-line accumulation in hystogram form in the time-of-flight neutron diffraction experiment using a two-dimensional position-sensitive detector is discussed. It is shown that an essential (more than by a factor of 100) decrease of the number of hystogram elements may be achieved with the help of the preliminary transformation of the experimental coordinates of each event (i.e., detector spatial coordinates and the time of flight) into the scattering vector space coordinates with the following accumulation of the number of events in the form of hystograms with elements representing the cells of that space. The number and dimensions of those cells may be chosen adequately to the structure under investigation. The block diagram of the electronic unit for the on-line data processing within 1.1 mks is presented

AbstractAbstract
[en] Digital filter unit is intended for preliminary selection of spectrometric information. Static semiconductor storage devices K537RU2A are used as digital filters. One unit consists of three digital filters. Their parameters are given by a computer program. Switching function of each digital filter is also realized by a computer program. The unit is performed in CAMAC standard. The developed program permit to use these digital filter units as a unit of a wide employment in most measurement modules without any modification of their soft- and hardwares
