AbstractAbstract
[en] In accordance with the hydrodynamic Bjorken limit, the initial energy density and temperature for a chemical non-equilibrium quark-gluon system formed in the heavy ion collisions at the LHC are computed. The dependence of this value on the type of colliding nuclei and the collision impact parameter is studied. The principle possibility of the non-equilibrium quark-gluon plasma (QGP) formation in the light nuclei collisions is shown. The life time of QGP is calculated. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] We demonstrate that the nuclear collision geometry (i.e. impact parameter) can be determined in an event-by-event analysis by measuring the transverse energy flow in the pseudorapidity region 3≤|η|≤5 with a minimal dependence on collision dynamics details at the LHC energy scale. Using the HIJING model we have illustrated our calculation by a simulation of events of nucleus-nucleus interactions at the c.m.s. energy from 1 up to 5.5 TeV per nucleon and various types of nuclei

AbstractAbstract
[en] New heavy gauge bosons belonging to an extended (in comparison with the Standard Model) gauge sector are present in the Grand Unified Theories as well as in some models invoked to solve the hierarchy problem, in particular the technicolour model and some variants of multidimensional quantum field theories (e.g., 'Little Higgs' model). An analysis of LHC potential to search for neutral gauge bosons in dimuon mode decay is carried out. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In accordance with the HIJING model an influence of the parton shadowing on global observable distributions (total transverse energy ET and charged multiplicity nch) is studied. It is established that an incidence of the minijet production (into 4 times for PbPb-collisions at the √s=5 TeV/nucleon) induced by shadowing in one's part decreases the total transverse energy and charged multiplicity into 2.7 times. Due to QCD-evolution of nuclear structure function the shadowing effect is weakened (into 1.9 times). It is shown that global observables can be used for a check of parton shadowing models. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The hadron multiplicity for the LHC energy is calculated. The various models of the nucleus-nucleus interactions and an influence of the final state interactions on the central pseudorapidity hadron density are discussed. It is shown that final state interactions lead to hadron density increasing up to 2 times

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the framework of the HIJING model, global characteristics of nucleus-nucleus collisions are studied for a Large Hadron Collider (LHC) energy scale. An interesting model prediction is the presence of a central bump over a pseudorapidity plateau of a total transverse energy distribution. The bump is induced by a jet quenching effect in a dense nuclear matter. It is shown that a wide acceptance calorimeter with a pseudorapidity coverage -5<η<5 allows one to obtain experimental confirmation of such an effect

[en] The dedicated remote center of the CMS Experiment at the LHC has been founded in JINR (Dubna). The main mission of the center is operational and efficient monitoring of the CMS detector systems, including the measurements of performance parameters during the prompt data analysis, monitoring of data acquisition and quality of data. Since 2009 the center is involved in remote shifts and operation works of the CMS

AbstractAbstract
[en] HIJING generator simulation of nucleus-nucleus collisions at ultrarelativistic energies is presented. It is shown that the global characteristics of nucleus-nucleus collisions, such as distribution of a charged multiplicity, total and electromagnetic transverse energy over pseudorapidity are rather sensitive to some predictions of models of high-exited nuclear medium formation, namely parton energy losses in dense nuclear matter. These losses result in appearance of a broad maximum in global variable distributions over pseudorapidity. The most profound of this effect occurs at central heavy ion collisions at LHC energy

AbstractAbstract
[en] On the basis of the HIJING generator simulation of heavy ion collisions at ultrarelativistic energy scale, a method of a fast selection of inelastic nucleus-nucleus interactions is proposed for the CMS experiment at LHC. The basic idea is to use the time coincidence of signals with resolution better than 1 ns from the two very forward calorimeter arms covering the acceptance 3<|η|<5. The method efficiency is investigated by variation of energy thresholds in the calorimeters for different colliding ion species, namely, PbPb, NbNb, CaCa, OO, pPb, pCa, pp. It is shown that a stable efficiency of event selection (∼98%) is provided in an energy threshold range up to 100 GeV for nuclear collisions at 5 TeV/nucleon in the centre of mass system. In the pp collision case the relevant efficiency drops from 93% down to 80%
