AbstractAbstract
[en] The temperature dependence of the d.c. resistivity and Seebeck coefficient for several Nickel-Zinc ferrites with Co substitutions was investigated. By increasing Co concentration a transition from n type to p type conduction was revealed. The obtained results are explained using an energy level diagram. The calculated activation energies for n and p conduction processes are given

AbstractAbstract
[en] Frequency and temperature dependence of permeability (μ') and magnetic loss factor (tan delta) on cobalt doped ferrites were investigated. It was found that the relaxation occurs only in the presence of Co2+ and Co3+ ions. The shape of the μ''(μ') diagrams suggests a distribution of the relaxation times. This distribution was found by using a model proposed by Krupicka and Roskovec. As for the relaxation mechanism, the electronic hopping Co2+ and Co3+ via Fe3+ seems to be the most probable one

AbstractAbstract
[en] An experimental study of several physical properties of polycrystalline cadmium sulphide (CdS) samples obtained by ceramic technology is reported. It has been investigated the influence of pressure in samples preparation, sintering temperature and atmosphere on the structural and electrical properties. (author)
