AbstractAbstract
[en] The problem of nondissipative electrosound S-polarized waves is solved for inhomogeneous and nonstationary plasma in linear transparency range. Spatial averaging of plasma and electromagnetic field equations is made. Closed-type equation system is obtained for mean values, which automodel asymtotics gives field amplitude monotone reduction with plasma density growth

AbstractAbstract
[en] It is shown that under the reflection of electromagnetic S-polarized wave from one-dimensional drop of plasma density in certain conditions the stationary electroacoustic wave is formed. The frequency of the reflected wave differs from the frequency incident on the value proportional to the electroacoustic wave velocity

AbstractAbstract
[en] We present an analytical theory that connects plasma losses from pinching discharges with rarefaction shocks. Using this theory, we can describe some features of pinching current dynamics, such as the inverse current and current loss effects. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A unidimensional expansion of initially resting plasma into vacuum in the case of a two-temperature electron distribution function is considered. Conditions are determined at which a break in the rarefaction wave occurs, the analytical solution for a weak jump is found. The Hamiltonian method of describing a plasma with two-temperature electron component is presented, the type of the three-wave process corresponding to solitons of densification and rarefaction is determined. The equation and solution are for the soliton type of a plasma, in which three-wave processes are absent

AbstractAbstract
[en] It is shown that with ''hot'' electron availability in laser plasma both rarefaction and tightening solitons and stationary rarefaction and tightening waves, which structure in case of low amplitude waves coincides with the weak shock wave form, may exist. Universal form of nonlinear term coefficients in equation for waves is stated

[en] A simple model of the Davydov-Zakharov class for laser-produced plasmas is developed. The rarefaction shock waves related to this model include critical steepening, as well as magnetic field generation. The corresponding current densities may reach values of the order 1 kA/μm2. (orig.)
