AbstractAbstract
[en] A model for elastic diffraction of hadrons with a double vacuum pole exchange is developed. Rescattering corrections are calculated within the framework of the U-matrix formalism. The connection with multiple production characteristics is studied. Experimentally measurable consequences of the model are discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] The impact parameter group has been obtained and studied on the basis of classical expressions for the vector components of minimum distance between two free spinless particles. The matrix elements of the main continuous unitary series have been calculated, they are quite a natural basis for elastic amplitude expansion. The final dimensional nonunitary series of the SO(2.1) group is shown to be able to describe scattering processes with impact parameter conservation. The corresponding elastic amplitude has been calculated and studied

AbstractAbstract
[en] The limiting transition at S → infinity has been stidied in the hadron elastic scattering amplitude model, based on the exixtence of the multiple vacuum pole in the t-channel decomposition of the generalized reaction matrix. The amplitude within this limit is shown to be an interference sum, whose first term describes absolutely elastic scattering and the other terms describe quantum fluctuations of the hadron simulating drop surface. These fluctuations result in elastic channeling effect. Its interference with the contribution from the first term is a physical reason for dip in the differential cross-section in the model

AbstractAbstract
[en] A model for the hadron--hadron elastic scattering amplitude based on the existence of a multiple vacuum pole in the t-channel expansion of the generalized reaction matrix is used to investigate the transition to the limit s→∞. It is shown that in this limit the amplitude is an interference sum, the first term of which describes completely elastic scattering corresponding to the geometrical limit with a radius R(s) = 2[α' ln(s/s0)ln g(s)]1/sup //2, while the remaining terms describe quantum fluctuations of the surface of a droplet which simulates a hadron. These fluctuations lead to the effect of elastic tunneling. Its interference with the contribution of the first term is the physical reason for the appearance of a dip in the differential cross section in the framework of our model

AbstractAbstract
[en] The data on the inelastic nucleon--nucleus cross section at superhigh energies are discussed. The atmospheric hadronic cascade model is studied taking into account a logarithmic growth of the inelastic cross sections with energy and the production of pions, kaons, and nucleons in pion-nucleus collisions. It is shown that the inclusion of the reaction πA→KX noticeably affects the value of the k/π ratio at muon and neutrino effective-generation altitudes. The results of the calculation are in good agreement with the experimental data on the hadronic component of cosmic rays at energies Eapprox. >1 TeV

AbstractAbstract
[en] Rescattering corrections to a seeding amplitude of elastic hadron scattering are calculated in the U-matrix approach. These corrections are shown to result in a change of differential cross-section from exponential to the Orear-like regime. The role of the characteristic Regge parameter S0 is discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] The impact-parameter group is constructed basing on the classical expressions for the minimum separation vector between two spinless particles. It is shown that this group is realized not on the Bessel functions, but on the cone functions, that have the Bessel functions as their limit at high energies and small scattering angles. The range of variation of the impact parameter is b2 (>=) 1/4 q2, where q is the c.m.s. momentum, so that the point b=O is reached only in the limit q2 → infinity. The impact-parameter amplitude is determined by the values of the total amplitude only in the physical region of variation of the scattering angles

AbstractAbstract
[en] Connection between elastic and inelastic processes of hadron scattering at high energies in the framework of the dipole pomeron model has been discussed. In the assumption on linear behaviour of the Regge trajectories the scattering amplitude with dipole pomeron exchange in the aimed parameter representation is calculated. Distribution over multiplicity of hadrons, depending on the Regge trajectory shape, is obtained
