AbstractAbstract
[en] The first two harmonics of sidereal wave in the intensity variations of the Budapest underground telescopes are studied on a year-to-year basis. By comparing the sidereal daily vectors obtained in sectors of opposite IMF directions at a pair of similar telescopes located at conjugate latitudes, one is able to disentangle the solar effects from a galactic anisotropy. Applying this procedure for the Budapest and Hobart measurements, the vector ascribable to galactic anisotropy has an amplitude of approximately 0.02% and phase approximately 5 hr. An attempt is made to draw some conclusion on the undistorted galactic anisotropy by taking into account the heliomagnetospheric deflection. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Leukocyte adherence inhibition was measured by a new modified radioisotopic technique. Peripheral blood leukocytes were isolated and labelled with 51Cr. These leukocytes were incubated with medium or buffer alone and with medium or buffer containing tumor antigen or gluten. The glass surface for the adherence was prepared carefully. In all samples the adherence of leukocytes occured under the same conditions. The results of the LAI assay with gluten and stomach cancer antigen are reported and discussed. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] It is shown that the approximately 6x1013 eV primary cosmic ray flux, as observed in the Extensive Air Shower experiment on Musala Peak, has unexplained broad-band aperiodic fluctuations with an amplitude of 0.5%, a spectrum of 1/f, and time scales from days through a year. Possible sources of these fluctuations are discussed: instrumental drifts, data analysis techniques, meteorological effects, and scattering by interstellar electromagnetic field irregularities. [en] Measurement results for Halley comet neutral gas concentration obtained using Plazmag-1 device are analyzed. Numerical model, which describes sensibly the obtained distribution, where difference of concentration values at flying-up and departing parts of trajectory is explained by Sun radiation pressure force effect on comet neutral particles, is formed

AbstractAbstract
[en] First and second harmonics of sidereal, solar and antisidereal diurnal waves are determined from continuous registrations by the Budapest underground muon telescope for 1976-1979. Sidereal anisotropies in different magnetic sectors are discussed in terms of trajectory calculations and are compared with results of previous magnetic field configuration

AbstractAbstract
[en] The barometric correction coefficient computed on the basis of the correlation between cosmic ray intensity and atmospheric pressure measured simultaneously has been investigated by many authors. The results obtained are usually dispersed around a certain value, which is characteristic for the component of cosmic rays concerned and its mean energy. However, this dispersion is always greater than expected. Even for a single apparatus significantly different values of the coefficient have been obtained during separate time periods. Thus, how to perform the correction of cosmic ray intensity data for pressure correctly, is still an open question. Probably, the discrepancies are partly due to the use of intensity data collected during magnetospheric disturbances. Some indication have already been obtained for the change of barometric coefficient of neutron monitors in magnetic storm periods (Petrov 1980, Gavritova 1981). Result of similar studies of the barometric coefficient for the muon component are presented below

AbstractAbstract
[en] 23 patients with gastric cancer, 16 patients with gastric mucosa adenoma, 12 patients one year after gastrectomy due to malignancy, and 20 healthy controls were analyzed by a leucocyte adherence inhibition RIA using 51Cr as well as corresponding and non-corresponding antigens. All adenomas were endoscopically and bioptically diagnosed small size tubular adenomas. Histologic grading of dysplasias was performed in accordance with Oehlert et al. [4] by multiple biopsy or by endoscopic polypectomia. Staging of the carcinomas in accordance with the UICC followed laparoscopical, intra-operative, and histological findings. Whereas precancerous and early stages demonstrated distinct sensibility against gastric carcinoma antigen late stages reacted as healthy controls. Because of severe scattering and serious failure in single results this test can only be a diagnostic aid in early stages of gastric carcinoma. (orig.)

(orig.)Original Title

AbstractAbstract
[en] Recent developments of the Musala anisotropy experiment are presented. A high-resolution analysis carried out at period lengths adjacent to one sidereal day shows rapidly diminishing amplitudes and significance levels on both sides of the period length of one sidereal day. This confirms that the observed intensity variation of approximately 6.1013 eV cosmic rays is of galactic origin. (author)
