AbstractAbstract
[en] The phenomenon of an isothermal increase of dark conduction in thin cadmium sulfides films, grown in air atmosphere by electrohydrodynamical spraying upon heated dielectric substrates of cadmium sulfide and thiourea solutions is investigated. The growth of conduction is observed at a wide temperature range by switching on direct curerent voltage to the samples. It is determined that the conduction growth is caused by a field drift of interstitial sodium atoms acting as small donor centers. Donor concentration redistribution in film crystallites, which is due to the drift brings about a decrease in itercrystallite drift barrier height and a reduction in the adsorption ability of the most part of crystallite surface. on the basis of temperature dependence of Kinetics of dark conduction isothermal increase the mobility activation energy of drifting centers is defined. Its value equals Esub(d)=(0.93+-0.07) eV

AbstractAbstract
[en] Electro-beam-induced-current, electron diffraction and X-ray electroprobe have been employed to study the initial stages of growth of CdTe films vacuum. The presence of inhomogeneity in the conduction can be explained by considering the deviation from stoichiometry for film samples prepared by sublimation of CdTe. Initially the film are tellurium-rich and p-type. Later a cadmium-rich layer which is n-type may be deposited onto the initial layer. Thes may lead to a change in the conduction type with the film thickness
