AbstractAbstract
[en] Rewarding employees for excellent safe behaviour and conservative approach to their work is also a safety culture tool, and rose significantly in Bohunice NPP V2 in the first quarter. This situation, when more power plant employees are proposed for reward, reflects the increased attention paid to their environment, i.e. local SE employees and their approach to safety.

AbstractAbstract
[en] A representative of the Slovak Republic was elected chairperson of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency for the period September 2014 – September 2015. This appointment means the high appreciation and acknowledgment of Slovakia´s role in the nuclear agenda. The Board of Governors will be chaired by the Governor appointed by the Slovak government, Ms. Marta Ziakova, Chairperson of the Nuclear Regulatory Agency. The Board of Governors is one of the two main IAEA bodies. The position of IAEA BoG Chairperson enables the SR to confirm and emphasize its position as a funded, experienced and, foremost reliable partner for the peaceful use of atomic energy. Slovak Republic could offer expertise and experience while being a partner for the development of its own nuclear programme.
