A technique for locating muon deep inelastic scattering events in a nuclear emulsion target

[en] An experiment was done at Fermilab with a nuclear emulsion target to search for the associated pair production of charmed particles by virtual photons from inelastically scattered muons. The experimental techniques used are described. About 100 events with an average Q2 of 4.6 (GeV/c)2 and v of 61.7 GeV were obtained. (orig.)
