Proton capture on 28Si and its astrophysical implications
AbstractAbstract
[en] The reaction 28Si(p,γ)29P has been measured in the proton energy range of Ep=0.37-2.95 MeV. The strengths of the observed resonances have been determined and the spectroscopic factors for the ground state and first excited state in 29P have been extracted from fits to the excitation functions. The stellar reaction rate has been calculated from the present results and is compared with previous values. (orig.)
