Possibility of electron acceleration in low-temperature plasma
AbstractAbstract
[en] A new acceleration mechanism of nonrelativistic electrons in the presence of acoustic fields in a gas tube is considered. It is shown that acoustic fields from microcells of spatial charge with a high value of local electric fields in plasma. It is obtained that the energy of 10 keV electrons can be accelerated in one act of acceleration more than 10%. By selection of the acoustic vibration parameters, it is possible to form a chain of these cells lined up in one line that allows one to increase the integral energy of electrons by multiple times
