Tailor made surfaces and exclusive design: the ABK Group project for the Café and Gelato in Berlin designed by #AzzoliniTinuper Studio The collaboration between ABK and AzzoliniTinuper Studio has brought to life the Café and Gelato at Potsdamer Platz in #Berlin, a project that celebrates the excellence of #MadeinItaly. ABK surfaces, with tailored decors and high-quality materials, make this space unique. The design combines #tradition and #innovation: the floor with the Golden Section-inspired decor, customized to suit Italian cities, and the use of Havana-colored Eco Chic tiles, which reproduce the wood effect with elegance. The walls feature Brick from the Crossroad collection, for a handcrafted look inspired by majolica tiles. The #opportunity of personalizing formats and decorations made it possible to develop a design that combines aesthetics, functionality and technical performance, offering the highest level of resistance, hygiene and ease of maintenance, fundamental qualities for spaces dedicated to catering. Viru Keskus bookstore in #Tallinn is renowned as one of the best in the world. With more than 1,600 square metres of shelving spread over two floors and a vast collection of books, Rahva Raamat Viru Keskus is also a popular meeting place and a prime location for events. ABK GROUP enhanced the spaces and characterised the #flooring of this place with Supreme Exotic Brown by FLAVIKER, in the 30x120 cm format with an antiqued finish, paired with a neutral-coloured carpet. The service areas, on the other hand, were adorned with the Supreme Royal Statuario and Exotic Brown collections. CERSAIE 2024 is the perfect occasion to celebrate the collaboration, which has continued since 2021, with #PaolaNavone OTTO STUDIO. With #PoetryHouse we value imperfection through artistic interpretation of matter. We experimented with the poetics of living, which condenses the designer's artistic background and personal history, bringing them into architectural environments. During this week we have unveiled two new projects that explores creative experiences, materials, graphic signs inspired by the most iconic and representative works of one of the most well-known Italian designers. Poetry Stone Reloaded, inspired by the world of stone, offers a journey through visual and tactile sensations, enhanced by a handmade appeal ideal for decorative solution.
