PhD students, Post-docs, Researchers and Professors who are interested in participating in the panels to present individual or group research can apply by 1 March 2025 by filling in this online form. The outcome of the selection will be announced by 15 March 2025. The international conference on “La Tunisie au carrefour migratoire entre Afrique et Europe : politique, relations internationales et mobilité humaine” at the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (CAREP) in Tunis, co-organized by our PRIN project on “Legal Pathways for Refugees in the Euro-Mediterranean Context”, was incredibly successful. Nicolò Acquarelli (University of Tuscia), Federica Ferrero (University of Pavia), Francesco Luigi Gatta (University of Verona), Chiara Pagano (University of Graz), Antonio Morone (Coordinator of the Pavia Unit), Mario Savino (University of Tuscia, PI of the PRIN project), and Giuseppe Terranova (University of Tuscia) were among the ADiM scholars who had the opportunity to participate as a speakers to the event. Special thanks to Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and all the other colleagues involved for the excellent scientific exchange and warm hospitality. We trust this marks the beginning of a fruitful collaboration on migration studies in the Euro-Mediterranean region!

The international conference on “Migrants’ Mobilities, (Post)Colonial Borders, and State Policies in Morocco and the Mediterranean Region” at the Université Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah de Fès in Morocco, co-organized by our PRIN project on “Legal Pathways for Refugees in the Euro-Mediterranean Context”, was incredibly successful. Mario Savino (University of Tuscia, PI of the PRIN project), Antonio Morone (Coordinator of the Pavia Unit), Chiara Pagano (University of Graz), Federica Ferrero (University of Pavia), and Giuseppe Terranova (University of Tuscia) were among the ADiM scholars who had the opportunity to participate as a speakers to the event. Special thanks to Dean Mohamed Moubtassime, the PhD Program Coordinator Khalid Bekkaoui, and all the other Maghreb and European colleagues involved for the excellent scientific exchange and warm hospitality. We trust this marks the beginning of a fruitful collaboration on migration studies in the Euro-Mediterranean region!

Alla V Conferenza annuale di ICON-S Italia, in programma all’Università di Trento il 17 e 18 ottobre, parteciperanno numerosi studiosi aderenti ad ADiM. Segnaliamo, tra gli altri, i seguenti due panel, entrambi programmati nella giornata di venerdì 17 ottobre: - “Diritti fondamentali alla prova: il protocollo Italia-Albania per la collaborazione in materia migratoria”, 16.00 – 17.30, Room JUS 05. - “Transizioni migratorie e digitali: quale ruolo per l’intelligenza artificiale nella digitalizzazione del fenomeno migratorio?”, 17.30 – 19.00, Room JUS C. Sarà possibile partecipare soltanto in presenza. Vi aspettiamo! 

The second and final day of the 6th ADIM Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Colloquium on "Migration and Artificial Intelligence: What Future for Migration and Asylum Policy in the EU?" has successfully concluded. A special thanks to our speakers (Francesca Tassinari, Ismini Mathioudaki, Janina Pescinski, Eline Waerp, Laura Jung) and discussants (Marcello Carammia, Graziella Romeo) for their insightful contributions. It has been another stimulating day filled with rich debates and meaningful exchanges of ideas. We are grateful to everyone who participated and made this event a success! See you next year for the 7th Doctoral Colloquium!

A special thanks to our speakers (Elena Consiglio, Andrea Della Casa, Christina Zarogianni and Michela Leggio) and discussants (Francesco Gatta, Niovi Vavoula, Simona Demkova and Mario Savino) for their insightful contributions. It has been a stimulating day, full of rich debates and meaningful exchanges of ideas. We are excited for the second and final day tomorrow!
