Our journey with MITdesignX VENICE (MITdesignX) came to an end yesterday! MITdesignX Venice is a multi-year open call for ideas co-created by MITdesignX (Boston) and SerenDPT - Serenissima Development and Preservation through Technology, a Venetian benefit company. Every year the 10 best ideas will gain admission to the accelerator program conducted by MIT faculty. SerenDPT hosts the program at its headquarters (Fabbrica H3) on the Giudecca island of Venice and provides incentives for startups to locate in the historic city, so they can contribute to repopulating the city and the lagoon by creating high-quality jobs. ArtCentrica has been selected and our team has attended the acceleration program with enthusiasm and drive over the past few weeks! Our CEO Marco Cappellini held the final pitch and our ambassador Nicole De Zanetti was also present for the occasion. It was an extremely educational and stimulating experience for our company. We would like to thank the MIT faculty and staff of SerenDPT (SerenDPT - Serenissima Development and Preservation through Technology) for the professionalism with which they welcomed us during these weeks.
