🙌 On Wednesday, six months of an amazing and inspiring program came to an end. We wrapped it up in Lisbon, during an event that brought together startups from the 12 countries that are part of the #EWA program promoted by EIT Food Women in Entrepreneurship. ✨ But that is not all. From insightful panel discussions to inspiring projects that aim to radically transform the agri-food world, the event was a true celebration of innovation and ambition. ✨ 🔥 What made it even more special was that all the startups participating were women-led. Witnessing so many talented, passionate, and driven women pushing boundaries in the agri-food sector was inspiring and incredibly empowering. It reinforced my belief in the importance of diversity and inclusion in driving meaningful change. 🫶 💡 This program has been a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, create meaningful connections, and learn from others who share the same passion for transforming the future of agriculture and food systems. 🤩 I'm thrilled to share that I’ll be attending the Women in Agrifood Stories 2024 in Lisbon! 🪴 🙌 This unique event wraps up the six amazing months of the #EWA program by EIT Food Women in Entrepreneurship that I participated in with my startup Clearchain. It brings together startups from 12 countries, each presenting innovative solutions to pressing challenges in the agrifood world. 🫶 ✨ I’m beyond excited not only for the opportunity to showcase our idea but also to learn from the incredible solutions that other startups are bringing to the table. I'm looking forward to being inspired by such a dynamic and international network. 🙌 Can’t wait for the grand finale on December 4th! Let’s make innovation happen! 🚀

🌍 As the #EWA 2024 programme nears its conclusion across the 12 countries, we are excited to share the first inspiring results from Italy! 🇮🇹 On November 7th, the Italian #EWADemoDay marked the culmination of the third edition of the EIT Food Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) programme, implemented by Future Food Institute. 🥇 Congratulations to Ira Sulejmeni, who was awarded the €10,000 first prize with her startup Clearchain, which is transforming the food traceability landscape with innovative real-time monitoring and blockchain integration to minimise waste and enhance food quality. She also earned the "Visibility Pack" honour, granting her the opportunity to attend the Women in Agrifood Stories 2024 in Lisbon. 🥈 The €5,000 second prize, sponsored by Nestlé Group in Italy, was awarded to antonella bellina for her project Alma Serum Cosmetic & Innovation, which transforms whey into sustainable cosmetic and biomedical products using advanced electrospinning technology, embracing a circular economy. A heartfelt thanks to the judges Antonio Iannone from TheFoodCons, Nicola Mei from Hi!Founders, and Valeria Gangemi from Angels4Women for their invaluable expertise. 🚀🌿 Beyond the awards, this Demo Day celebrated the achievements and hard work of all ten participants, who demonstrated remarkable dedication, growth, and innovative thinking throughout the programme. EWA 2024: Donne che cambiano il futuro dell'Agrifood! La scorsa settimana si è tenuto l'evento finale di 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱, il progetto di EIT Food organizzato per il terzo anno consecutivo dal nostro partner Future Food Institute. Il primo premio è stato conquistato da Ira Sulejmeni con Clearchain, una #startup che sta rivoluzionando la tracciabilità alimentare. Al secondo posto si è classificata antonella bellina con Alma Serum Cosmetic & Innovation, un progetto innovativo che valorizza il siero di latte, trasformandolo in prodotti cosmetici e biomedicali a basso impatto ambientale. La menzione d'onore "Visibility Pack" di quest'anno va ancora a Ira Sulejmeni, che rappresenterà l'Italia al summit internazionale EWA Women in #Agrifood Stories a #Lisbona, insieme ai migliori talenti d’Europa. A rappresentare #A4W in giuria è stata la nostra socia Valeria Gangemi, che ha avuto modo di affiancare, ispirare e valutare le startup insieme ad Antonio Iannone di TheFoodCons e a Nicola Mei di Hi!Founders. 🌟 Last week we attended the @Next Bite by EIT Food in Rome. 👨🌾 🌱 With the shared goal of shaping a better future for food, the event brought topics such as sustainability, trust and innovation to the stage. 🌍 🌿 It has been a truly inspiring experience for us, exploring innovative approaches, from regenerative agriculture to AI-powered solutions, to create resilient, biodiverse and sustainable European agriculture and food systems. ✨
