🌟 Meet our team 🌟 Get to know the #people behind Coram’s success! Today we introduce you Luca Rago, our valued Corporate Quality Manager. Luca joined the Coram team in January 2012 as Quality System Manager, restructuring the company’s standards according to #ISO9001 and #IATF16949 norms and extending them to all the companies within the Coram Group. He also played a key role in the development of our Joint Venture in India 🌏, implementing procedures and best practices at the Indian plant, as well as in USA, where Coram USA achieved ISO 9001 certification thanks to Luca and his team work. Since 2015, Luca has been our Corporate Quality Manager, leading the team to ever-greater quality while maintaining a constant focus on #customersatisfaction and continuous improvement of our products in terms of #safety and #reliability. His hard work has allowed us to reduce costs and achieve #ISO3834 - 2 and #ISO14001 certifications, bringing both efficiency and #sustainability to our operations. 🚀 “Coram represents my second home, the company that has allowed me to become who I am today, by always trusting and supporting me.” These are his words, and for us, Luca represents much more than just a colleague: he is a cornerstone of the Coram family, embodying our values and commitment every day. Grande entusiasmo oggi in Coram Europe, per la produzione del primo supporto in alluminio che verrà utilizzato su un nuovo Piantone Sterzo nel 2025! Presso il nostro reparto di lavorazioni meccaniche, guidato dall’ing. Pamela Cattaneo, un team molto appassionato ha realizzato in 1 sola settimana il primo pezzo. Seguirà ora una produzione pilota di 100 pezzi e da aprile 2025 partirà la produzione in serie. Complimenti a tutto il team e a tutti coloro che hanno permesso la realizzazione delle attrezzature necessarie e le misurazioni dei campioni.

Sustainability in action: lightening the way to a greener future! We’re happy to share that at Coram Europe, we’ve made a significant leap towards our sustainability goals through a comprehensive #relamping project in our headquarter in Cologne (BS), Italy. As part of this initiative, we replaced more than 500 traditional lamps with energy-efficient LED lamps, and the results have been extraordinary! By making this transition, we’ve been able to reduce our energy consumption by an impressive 70% compared to last year when we were still using regular lamps. This shift not only contributes to our cost-efficiency but, more importantly, aligns with our deep commitment to reducing our environmental impact and promoting a more sustainable future for the automotive industry. This project is more than just a technical upgrade, it’s part of a broader mission at Coram Europe that has started more than one year ago, which focuses on the integration of innovative and eco friendly solutions into every aspect of our operations. We believe that businesses have a critical role to play in the global effort to combat climate change, and this is just one of the many steps we are taking to live up to that responsibility, being the sustainability and the respect for the environment one of our four pillars of the 2024-2030 strategic plan. Since joining us in October 2003, Francesco has been a cornerstone of our operations. He started as a Sales Engineer, moving quickly to manage our international activities 🌍 coordinating all the foreign subsidiaries under the guidance of Angelo Piantoni, Coram’s CEO. Since 2006 he has been taking the lead of our Purchasing Department and in 2011 he started managing the entire Supply Chain division, significantly shaping our logistic expertise and creating an efficient and strong partnership with our suppliers. Today Francesco leads a dedicated team of valued and committed people in Coram Europe, covering both #Purchasing and #Logistics areas. Moreover, since 2019, he is a member of the Board of Directors of our Indian subsidiary, Coram Chromewell India Pvt. Ltd., driving global expansion and internal development with a focus on continuous #personalgrowth and team #empowerment. 💼 Francesco embodies his core values, which have always distinguished him: unwavering dedication, loyalty, discretion, and a strong focus on achieving results. Over his 21-year journey in Coram Europe, he has certainly contributed to the company’s long-term success and all the Coram Group will be forever grateful to him. During the development of this product, CORAM paid particular attention to improving the ergonomic position of the #driver.
