Just wrapped up an unforgettable Erasmus+ experience in Poland! 🇵🇱 I spent one week (October 23rd-30th) in Międzybrodzie Bialskie, nestled in the picturesque Silesian Beskid Mountains, participating in the Youth Exchange "Green Trending." 🌱 This amazing program brought together participants from across Europe, united by a passion for sustainability and environmental action. Throughout the exchange, we explored innovative ways to promote ecology and sustainable development using modern communication tools like short videos and social media campaigns. From learning the principles of zero waste and sustainable shopping to discussing global ecological challenges and local solutions aligned with the European Green Deal, every activity was both engaging and impactful. A highlight was the intercultural integration—sharing traditional snacks, games, and stories during the cultural evening! This experience not only enhanced my skills in creating digital content but also broadened my perspective on sustainable living practices. 🌍 Huge thanks Zielone Śląskie https://lnkd.in/dimjCDZM for hosting us in such a beautiful location and providing enriching workshops that left us inspired to become advocates for change in our communities. This Erasmus+ adventure has truly been a transformative chapter, equipping me with tools to amplify my voice for sustainability and forge connections that will last a lifetime. 🗓 11th - 24th of November | COP29, Baku, Azerbaijan "COP, which stands for Conference of Parties, is the series of formal meetings Conference of Parties, where governments assess global efforts to advance the Paris Agreement and the Convention, also limit global warming to 1.5°C as informed by the latest science. At COPs, world leaders come together to measure progress and negotiate the best ways to address climate change. There are now 198 Parties (197 countries plus the European Union) to the Convention, constituting near-universal membership.
