Through our "Fedrigoni for" initiative, we are honored to support projects that drive meaningful change and make a lasting impact in the communities around us. In 2024, we’ve partnered with KEDV, an NGO focused on empowering low income women in Turkey, and we’re excited to share the inspiring story of Betül, a dedicated member of the Kahramanmaraş Cooperative. Through the cooperative, women in the region are finding not just skills and opportunities but also a lifeline of solidarity and strength. “A world cannot exist without the presence of women” Betül says, as she calls for support to uplift the women of Maraş. In another year characterized by overall uncertainty and strong volatility in the end markets we serve, we kept pursuing our industrial plan, completed four M&A deals, and proved great resiliency, and we expect to close 2024 with a +10% average in Revenues and EBITDA.   Q3 results confirm our growth trajectory with a +13.7% in Revenues and +8.2% in adjusted Ebitda over last year, coherently with the trend of the last nine months (January-September 2024), where we achieved +8.7% in Revenues and +8.2% in adjusted Ebitda. The RFID business particularly (Tageos) achieved 142% growth in Revenues and 231.9% in Ebitda for the first nine months of 2024 over the same period 2023.   In the next 4 years we will invest almost 300 million euros globally (100 million in Italy) to enhance our premium product offering and make our global production footprint more efficient and sustainable to serve our customers with the same quality and service around the world. This year has been pivotal as we work toward our ambitious goal for 2030: ensuring that 100% of our products are designed for optimal end-of-life recycling and recovery. This journey is built on two key sub-targets that are tailored to our distinct business units, each underpinned by recognized external certifications. From the Symbol Pack ECO50, Sylvicta, and our Gift Card, designed to facilitate the transition from plastic to paper, to our self-adhesive solutions like Replay Tintoretto gesso, which incorporates 15% upcycled glassine content, compostable films for the food sector, F-Jet Natural Fibers made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper, and wash-off materials— our 2024 products reflect our dedication to providing innovative solutions that meet market demands while prioritizing end-of-life approach. Last month, an official agreement was signed for a four-year cooperation between us and Grenoble INP-Pagora, the French engineering school specializing in paper, print media, and biomaterials. This partnership seeks to strengthen connections between Fedrigoni and the academic community, fostering collaboration with students, researchers, and faculty. Key elements of the agreement include hosting an annual Master’s student at Fedrigoni, participating in Pagora’s yearly forum, awarding an innovation prize for the most outstanding Master’s thesis in biomaterials and paper, and providing a scholarship for an Italian student to join the Master’s program in printed electronics. The inaugural Fedrigoni Innovation Prize was awarded to Susie Guehenneux for her pioneering research on utilizing lignin as a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based binders in bitumen. #innovation #elevatingcreativity #striveforexcellence

This year, as part of our commitment to local communities, we launched the second edition of Fedrigoni For, collaborating with the Turkish NGO, KEDV Foundation. This project embodies our willingness to invest more and more in creating shared value, addressing social issues while pushing economic opportunities. Working with KEDV led to the creation of more than 6000 beautiful handcrafted items for all our people in the world. Goods tailored by 200 women members of a local cooperative in the Maras region, which was severely affected by the devastating earthquake in February 2023. These women, project by project, are recovering from the disaster, enabling the rebuilding of their families and community.
