During the London Design Festival, B&B Italia celebrated The Collection and unveiled its 2024 designs, marking a new chapter that showcases an anthology tracing the evolution of design over time and highlighting the value of its historic collections. The Store windows are set up with 2024 Maxalto collection, the brand-new designs by Antonio Citterio, and celebrate the concept of "Art of the Unique'” where each piece is crafted to showcase the client's personal style while seamlessly blending with the surroundings. The B&B Italia London showroom also stood out with Arclinea kitchens designed by Antonio Citterio, featuring two newly refreshed kitchen displays among the five in the space. For the first time, one of them, the elegant Arclinea Lignum et Lapis kitchen, has been displayed in the showcase. Flos proudly presented its most iconic lighting pieces while introducing new designs, such as the IC 10th Anniversary by Michael Anastassiades, the Bellhop Glass by Barber Osgerby, and the SuperWire by Formafantasma. On September 19th, B&B Italia London hosted a private talk titled Design Discussion, focusing on The Collection: a story of Made in Italy timeless icons. 150 Years and Still Making History Established in 1874, 2024 marks the 150th anniversary of Louis Poulsen. To celebrate the occasion, the First House of Light transforms its iconic Danish designs into a collection of anniversary editions inspired by the pale rose shade on the inner side of the original PH Artichoke designed in 1958. A selection of their timeless lamps reimagined into collectible pieces that all play tribute to their renowned designers: PH Artichoke and PH 5 designed by Poul Henningsen, AJ Mini designed by Arne Jacobsen and Panthella 160 Portable designed by Verner Panton.
