Here are our first echogenic brain simulators: from now on, residents and neurosurgeons will have the chance to use ultrasound machines on our models. Brain US is a vital step for many procedures, such as low-grade glioma resolution and biopsies execution: being able to practice it makes processes faster and more efficient. In the past few days we attended the 73rd National Congress of the Italian Society of Neurosurgery in Bari. We are enthusiastic of the positive feedback we received about our brain simulators: experienced neurosurgeons from all over Italy confirmed the hyper-realistic character of our brain-pads and stated it was like operating a biological model. It was a pleasure to participate to Riccione 65th congress of the Italian Nephrology Society (Società Italiana Nefrologia), supporting the workshop about vascular access, coordinated by professor Carlo Lomonte. We had the chance to assist to live simulations of the creation of arteriovenous fistulas using grafts and the maintenance of vascular access using PTA balloon catheters.
