🚆 AV/AC #Naples–Bari Line: #Archaeological Discoveries Along the #Telese-#Vitulano Section 🏺✨ 🔍 During the construction of the Telese-Vitulano section of the new AV/AC Naples–Bari railway line, being carried out by #Ghella in partnership with Itinera and Salcef Group, significant archaeological finds have emerged. Excavations have uncovered a Hellenistic-Roman #sanctuary in the municipality of Ponte, rich in votive offerings, and a Roman villa in Solopaca, providing new insights into ancient settlements in the area. 🏛️ 🌍 The #discoveries, presented at Naples Afragola Station in the presence of representatives from Gruppo FS and the relevant #Superintendencies, highlight the importance of collaboration between #engineers, #archaeologists, and #institutions in balancing infrastructure development with the preservation of #cultural #heritage. #ghella #ghella4future #infrastructure #engineering #tunnel #tunneling

🎆 In December 2024, the 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐫ø𝐦 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 construction has reached a pivotal stage with the successful erection of the last girder. The 4 km long bridge is effectively joined from north to south!  The completion of this phase signifies that the primary structural components of the bridge are now in place, laying the groundwork for subsequent stages we are already working on at full speed. 👷🏼♀️👩🏻💻This achievement marks the culmination of extensive planning, precise engineering, and coordinated execution. 💙 A heartfelt thank you to all our #people involved in this project, that is not only a feat of engineering but also a symbol of commitment to delivering infrastructure that meets the highest standards of #quality, #safety, and #sustainability! 🏗️ As we welcome 2025, we are excited to move into the reconstruction phase of the northbound carriageway of the 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭, a crucial connection for central #Italy dating back to the 1970s! The #modernization #project involves the alternate demolition and reconstruction of the carriageways, thus avoiding the total closure of the viaduct. 🚄 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘱 𝘣𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘱, 𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘫𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬! The new rail line #LyonTurin represents one of the most important infrastructure projects in #Europe: it will significantly improve Italy-France connections and ensure the daily transportation of thousands of people and goods. ASTM is taking part in this extraordinary initiative both through Itinera, the Group's #EPC company committed to the construction of the base tunnel, and through Sitaf, the motorway concession of the A32 Torino-Bardonecchia section involved in the line crossing. In this video, we see a SITAF construction site for the new #truckport, which will offer more than 300 parking spaces for heavy and light vehicles, a service station, and office space. The area of the old hub will house the new International Rail Station planned in the City of Susa. 🙌 As a Group, we are excited to be part of this international collaboration and development project alongside TELT Lyon Turin for more efficient and sustainable mobility! --- 🚄 𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘰 𝘥𝘰𝘱𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘰, 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰 𝘶𝘯𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢! La nuova linea ferroviaria #TorinoLione, rappresenta uno dei più importanti progetti infrastrutturali in #Europa: migliorerà significativamente i collegamenti Italia-Francia e garantirà gli spostamenti di migliaia di persone e di merci ogni giorno. ASTM prende parte a questa straordinaria iniziativa sia attraverso Itinera, azienda #EPC del Gruppo impegnata nella realizzazione del tunnel di base, sia attraverso Sitaf, concessionaria autostradale della tratta A32 Torino-Bardonecchia, interessata dal passaggio della linea. In questo video vediamo un cantiere SITAF per la costruzione del nuovo #autoporto, che offrirà oltre 300 stalli per veicoli pesanti e leggeri, una stazione di servizio e locali ad uso ufficio.
