Our colleagues from Energy Solutions took part in a management progress meeting this morning with ENGIE Belgium's management on the assembly site of the world's largest heat recovery #boiler in Flémalle (Liège, Belgium). The team could attend the site's last heavy lifting, the lifting of the 90-ton John Cockerill stack. This important step in the assembly was carried out using a telescopic crane with a capacity of 800 tons. Congratulations to all our teams who are managing this large-scale project and a big thank you to Raf Anné, Wim Broos, Tim Carrette and Yves Grofils for their welcome. Dans le cadre d'un projet ambitieux sur une ligne de traitement de surface d’un centre de conception et de production spécialisé en systèmes de trains d’atterrissage au #Canada, John Cockerill Cy-Bo a conçu et installé un système complet de #dépollution de l'air adapté aux contraintes spécifiques du site. Ce projet a mis en avant notre expertise en matière de solutions de traitement de l’#air personnalisées et performantes. Les solutions mises en place : ➤ Hottes d’aspiration pour capter les polluants à la source. ➤ Réseau de gaines pour acheminer l’air vicié. ➤ Séparateur de gouttes à lames pour éliminer les particules liquides. ➤ Laveur à garnissage #AyraScrub™ LRV pour le traitement optimal des polluants gazeux. ➤ Ventilateurs industriels #AyraVent™ pour une extraction continue de l’air traité. As part of the Belgium Economic Mission to India, Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid visited our Taloja plant: a centre of excellence in Rolling Mills, Steel Processing Lines and Industrial Furnaces which illustrates the strong ties between #India and #Belgium. John Cockerill presented the steel expertise and technologies developed both in Belgium and in India since the 19th century, to meet the evolving needs of the industry. Our Group demonstrated the long-standing relationship between the two countries. Une collaboration au service de la performance industrielle entre LISI AUTOMOTIVE et John Cockerill. Acteur mondial spécialisé dans les solutions d’assemblage métalliques et plastiques ainsi que les composants mécaniques de sécurité de haute valeur ajoutée pour l’automobile, LISI AUTOMOTIVE a fait appel à John Cockerill EE pour moderniser et remplacer l'installation de traitement de l'air de son usine de Grandvillars (France). Une démarche qui illustre notre engagement commun pour l’excellence industrielle et un avenir plus durable. Chargé depuis de nombreuses années de la maintenance de l'ancienne installation, John Cockerill EE a noué une relation de confiance avec LISI AUTOMOTIVE qui n’a pas hésité à solliciter l’expertise de notre entité française pour remplacer son système de dépollution de l’air existant. Le projet a consisté à remplacer l'intégralité du système de captage, du ventilateur, ainsi que de l'unité de lavage de gaz #Ayra™, d'une capacité de 75.000 m³/h, conçu pour traiter les effluents issus de la ligne de décapage et de phosphatation des bobines de fils afin de garantir des émissions conformes aux règlementations en vigueur. John Cockerill EE contribue à cette initiative qui renforce l'engagement de LISI AUTOMOTIVE en matière de durabilité environnementale, tout en réaffirmant que la protection et le bien-être des opérateurs restent des priorités essentielles, transformant ainsi ses installations en une vitrine de son savoir-faire. Réactivité et inventivité ont été de mise dans la conduite du projet : l’enjeu a été de réaliser ces opérations de démontage et d’installation en seulement trois semaines, durant la fermeture de l’usine. Un défi brillamment relevé par nos équipes !
