Odysseus Space is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Leaf Space to deploy Odysseus’ first Commercial Optical Ground Station (OGS) within the Leaf Space network. The first Odysseus’ OGS will be based in Montsec, Cataluña, Spain, and is a significant leap forward for Odysseus’ Cyclops™ Laser Communication as-a-Service (LCaaS™) and Leaf Space’s Ground Station as-a-Service (GSaaS) capabilities, enabling fast and secure data transfer between Earth Observation (EO) satellite constellations and ground infrastructure. This agreement marks: 🚀 A powerful collaboration between Odysseus and Leaf Space expertise into a simplified and integrated solution for space-to-ground data transfer. 🚀 The first of many OGS in Odysseus' vision to build a global network by 2026, offering customers 1TB/day downlink capacity with Cyclops™ LCaaS™ solution. 🚀 A strategic step towards supporting Leaf Space’s global Leaf Line network, a hybrid network of ground stations developed for optical and radio frequency (RF) communications. Cyclops™ is a Laser Communication as-a-Service solution that enables fast and secure data volume transfer with no upfront costs. Our service subscription is available for customer reservation now, and we’re preparing for an exciting in-orbit demonstration with a customer in early 2026!
