Thank you Petra Škarja and the Dewesoft team for your visit which inspires us to continue imagining the future
One of the most inspiring business stories: the Loccioni. It's hard to describe what you experience there. It's a practical demonstration that business is not just numbers. Loccioni has created a successful business story, but more than that, it has created a special beautiful world in their region. An extraordinary care for the preservation of cultural heritage (they restored the local church), education for young people (they teach practical things to young children - from baking bread the old-fashioned way, to the basics of measuring), respect for nature (they are completely self-sufficient, they have even taken care of the riverbanks, to prevent a recurrence of catastrophic flooding), a strong family value (when they draw a playful picture of all the employees in the area, and on it you can see at least seven times his wife, who passed away years ago, "My boss", said Mr. Loccioni and made a lovely smile), respect for your roots, respect for where you come from (Mr. Loccioni grew up on a farm and still has a lot of animals in the fields around the factories), stories, stories and more stories (they have their own book publishing house). It's hard to describe, I can only say THANK YOU Mr. Loccioni, THANK YOU Maria Paola Palermi and the whole team for such a lovely welcome. And Thank you Dewesoft and Katapult for having the honor to present the City of Acrobats. Some nice bits of their thinking: - The heart of the Loccioni entrepreneurial project: love for the territory and respect for its traditions, the drive for continuous improvement, the desire for a simple and hard-working life, the sense of a united and strong family. "We are all usufructuaries on this earth, we don't take anything away, and what we can do is leave things a little better than how we found them". - "Attention to detail, customer satisfaction, surprising with an act of kindness, curiosity in a question, attention to waste, determination to do well, love in what you do, respect for people, earning respect, the things that matter and those that are counted, are the roots and leaves of this group, they are the values that have been passed on to us." - "I create a positive relationship with people who have a story to tell. Especially with the elderly, whose history and experience can provide great lessons to the younger ones."
