🏎️💨 BEST COMBUSTION AND HYBRID FORMULA STUDENT TEAMS OF 2024 SEASON 🏎️💨 After publishing the VRL for the Electric Class, many people asked me to do the same for the Combustion & Hybrid Class—a category that I personally find extremely fascinating. This class allows teams with lower budgets from all over Europe to compete, and with the latest rule changes introducing Hybrid Systems and Hydrogen Fuel, its future looks more exciting than ever. But let’s be honest—the roar of a combustion engine will always give me goosebumps! Now, let’s get to the Top 5 teams of the season: 🥇 P1 – MoRe Modena Racing Hybrid 🇮🇹 The absolute dominator of the season! The Italian team won every event they entered (#FormulaSAEItaly, Formula Student Austria and Formula Student Alpe Adria ). Their breakthrough came from Beatrice Terzo's precise organization, Lorenzo Marrone's outstanding technical expertise, and a monumental Christian Cobellini behind the wheel—who delivered the best AutoX time at every competition. 🥈 P2 – FSUPV Team 🇪🇸 A team that consistently finished 2nd at every event they entered—an outstanding feat! However, their second place on home soil (Formula Student Spain (Official Site) ) left a bittersweet taste, as they were comfortably leading before the Endurance. I have no doubt they will come back stronger in 2025, showcasing exciting technical innovations. 🥉 P3 – Cerber Motorsport 🇵🇱 A rock-solid season! The Polish team secured a convincing win at Formula Student Czech Republic and delivered strong performances in Hungary and Austria. Their car was developed to perform consistently across all disciplines, showcasing excellent adaptability and a good reliability. They ended their season on a high note, winning Formula Student Poland —a well-deserved reward for their hard work and dedication! 🏆 P4 – Arrabona Racing Team 🇭🇺 This was the final season for their legendary 1-cylinder engine developed by SZEngine Engine Development Team —and what a farewell it was! The highlight? Victory at Formula Student East. A small technical issue prevented them from finishing in Croatia, but the unforgettable image of their driver on his knees, kissing the car, will stay in the hearts 💖 of every FS fan. 🟠 P5 – Aristotle Racing Team (ART) 🇬🇷 This team achieved two impressive second places in FSCZ and FSAA, delivering strong results in the dynamic disciplines. I met them in Croatia, and their ethusiasm, humbleness, and relentless will to learn truly impressed me. 🔵 P6 – BlueStreamline Formula Student Team 🇷🇴 A fantastic win in Spain proved, once more. that knowledge, experience, and determination are far more important than budget in this game. A true inspiration for every young team! 💣And the big news is that all those teams qualified for 🇭🇷 Formula Student Alpe Adria 2025 🇭🇷 and I am extremely thrilled to see the battle on the track What do you think?
