♻️ Circular Monday: A Reflection on the Opportunity of Circularity ♻️ Today, November 25th, Musthad, as a company driven by a zero-landfill philosophy, joins the celebration of Circular Monday — an initiative dedicated to sustainable consumption and promoting a circular economy. 👕 The fashion industry is undergoing a profound transformation, fueled by structural shifts, evolving consumer behavior, and increasing regulatory pressure. As highlighted in the recent State of Fashion 2025 report by McKinsey, the sector will continue to face significant economic uncertainty. Surveys reveal that over 80% of consumers plan to maintain or reduce their spending on fashion in the coming year. 🇪🇺 This instability is not just a challenge but a call to action. Traditional production and consumption models are no longer viable, and new approaches are urgently needed. Upcoming regulations, such as the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, will require European brands to report unsold inventory by 2025 and prohibit its destruction by 2026. 🛍️ In this context, reducing excess inventory and implementing circular strategies are not just cost-saving measures but essential for building resilience and ensuring long-term success. According to McKinsey, the fashion industry produced an estimated 2.5 billion to 5 billion items of excess stock in 2023, representing between $70 billion and $140 billion in lost sales. Every surplus garment is a missed opportunity — and Musthad is here to help the industry turn these challenges into value. Our technology enables brands to strategically manage inventory excess, driving a future of zero landfill through circularity. 🌏 Circular Monday is not just a day for reflection — it’s a call to action. Together, we can build a more circular future. ➡️ What initiatives are you implementing to make your supply chain more circular? ➡️ Interested in exploring circular solutions for your excess inventory? Contact us! #circularmonday #circularity #sustainabilty #textilewaste #fashionindustry

💡Two days of deep insights at the Venice Sustainable Fashion Forum, held in the inspiring setting of Fondazione Giorgio Cini. Organized by Sistema Moda Italia, The European House-Ambrosetti, and Confindustria Veneto Est, the event provided a rich platform for exploring the challenges and opportunities of the #sustainable transition in #fashion. This year’s theme, "Leading Re-Generation", focused on the regeneration of the entire #fashion and #luxury sectors—an ambitious goal that requires collaboration among all #stakeholders, including brands, supply chains, policymakers, consumers, and financial institutions. The forum, leveraging the study by Ambrosetti, highlighted key factors for success: aligning large and small-medium enterprises, establishing clear regulatory frameworks, ensuring financial support, enhancing skills, and defining the government’s role in guiding this transformation. 🗣️Our founder, Matteo Aghemo, participated in one of the four side panels, "Fashioning a Circular Economy", moderated by Silvia Gambi. Alongside Arianna Colombari from Tecnica Group, Mariagrazia Vittori from GRASSI 1925, Marco Guazzoni from Vibram Group, and Dario Casalini from Oscalito - Maglificio Po s.r.l., Matteo explored how technology and innovation can drive the circular economy transition in the fashion industry. ♻️He also shared insights from Musthad’s collaboration with Oscalito - Maglificio Po s.r.l. and discussed the challenges of data collection to effectively enable circularity. 🌟Thank you to the Venice Sustainable Fashion Forum for hosting this inspiring event and bring fresh perspectives on how to shape a more sustainable future. #VeniceSFF #VSFF24 #sustainability #circularity #fashion #textile #transition
