Tapematic announces the delivery of an S8+3 Sputtering module to a leading Chinese customer. This S8+3 is going to be interfaced with a local manufactured UV spray coating line, and the system will be dedicated to process one of the most prestigious Chinese spirits. Tapematic has been granted this multiple S8+3 contract thanks to the fact that it has been capable, thanks to the Tapematic Sampling Division (https://lnkd.in/d6hiHPMG) to provide to the Chinese customer and to the Chinese Spirits Brand Owner, multiple samples of the UV sputtered closures proving excellent quality and performance. “Our customer recognizes the significant benefits of the Sputtering S8+3, which produces no waste materials and uses minimal quantity of metal deposition to achieve optimal results with an ultra-uniform coating. The sputtered layer is homogeneous, bright, consistent, and repeatable across all processed parts, outperforming "bell" sputtering or evaporation systems. Tapematic is set to ship a primer module to its Canadian customer. In October 2018, Tapematic installed a PST Line I at the Canadian production facility of a major Chinese player in the global cosmetic packaging industry. “Thanks to the modularity and adaptability of the Tapematic PST Line, we can integrate a primer module into the existing equipment even after 6 years.” states Antonio Scotti, Tapematic's VP of Sales.
