Ambros Gasser of ASI Reisen hosted us at his impressive headquarters, nestled in the woods of Natters, just outside #Innsbruck. A truly extraordinary location that was worth the trip on its own.🌲 In this context, we took the opportunity to shine a spotlight on the North Tyrolean #startupecosystem. The pitches from bhealth, KinCon biolabs, and MADiscover triggered dynamic Q&A sessions with the audience – a big shoutout to Laura Gruber, Eduard STEFAN, and Dr. Mai Anh Dao for your excellent presentations! 🚀 We then welcomed four ecosystem experts to the stage, each playing a key role as #founders, #investors, and ecosystem builders. The discussion covered the evolution of the startup scene, infrastructure for startups, the role of universities, the presence (or lack?) of early-stage and growth capital, and ways to foster cross-border collaboration. 💯 It was lively, sometimes provocative, truly honest and deeply engaging. Entrepreneurial drive doesn’t just appear out of thin air. Ideally, children and teenagers learn early on that it’s something positive and empowering. 💪 That’s why the FOS-high school in Merano dedicated an entire week to #entrepreneurship and our local TV station captured the experience (in German) 🎥 🙋♀️ To bring a practical connection to the real business world, students had the chance to #pitch their business ideas in a competition before a jury.
