🚀 The Italian network of the #FLIGHTproject is expanding! Training 2000 is pleased to announce its collaboration with the #CivilProtection Department of  #Senigallia Municipality, an group with extensive experience in #naturaldisasterprevention and a strong commitment to #environmentalprotection. 🤝 As an associated partner of the #ErasmusPlus #VET project FLIGHT – Future Learning in Vocational Education using Innovative #DroneTechnology, their involvement represents a unique opportunity to combine practical #skills and innovation across institutions and organizations from Italy, Turkey, Slovakia, North Macedonia, and Portugal. 🦺 The Civil Protection Department of Senigallia Municipality plays a crucial role in emergency management and land protection for years, using #drones to monitor and prevent risks related to natural disasters, such as floods and wildfires. Thanks to their experience, drones will become a fundamental tool to enhance environmental #monitoring and protection operations. 💡 In recent meetings, Training 2000 had the pleasure of exploring the use of innovative drone training techniques and they can be used to train #futureprofessionals and #volunteers to tackle the #environmentalchallenges of our time, mainly fire and floods. 👉 Follow our journey on https://lnkd.in/dXg8c5dt

🚀 FUTU4U Project: Empowering Young Voices for Democracy!🎤💡 On February 10-11, 2025, Fano hosted the FUTU4U workshops at the local library (Memoteca), bringing together trainers, youth, and European experts to foster active citizenship and democratic engagement. 📌 On February 10, the Train the Trainers session took place, where Finnish trainers worked with Italian trainers, preparing them to facilitate the youth workshop the next day. 📌 On February 11, we officially launched "My Voice" – Democracy Workshop, a dynamic and interactive event designed to empower young Europeans (18-30) with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to actively participate in civic life. The workshop welcomed many students from various local schools, who enthusiastically engaged in discussions, hands-on activities, and collaborative exercises. Our "My Voice" – Democracy Workshop featured an inspiring lineup of speakers and discussions aimed at empowering young people to actively participate in democracy. ✅ Institutional Greetings from local leaders: 🔹 Lucia Tarsi – Social Policies Assessor 🔹 Davide Pieretti – Youth Policies Delegate 🔹 Roberta Galdenzi – Director of the Territorial Social Area ✅ Key Sessions that sparked insightful conversations: 🔹 Introduction to FUTU4U and its role in youth democracy 🔹 Insights from Alice Maffoni (European Youth Parliament Italy – EYP Italia) on youth engagement opportunities 🔹 Interactive discussions led by Pasi Hario, Riikka Nenonen, and Saara Bouzoubaa Teerineva (project partners from Finland), guiding participants through democratic processes and active citizenship FUTU4U is a European initiative dedicated to fostering social inclusion and a sense of belonging, with a special focus on young people. During the workshop, participants engaged in interactive, participatory activities designed to encourage reflection and discussion on democracy. Through group work, round tables, and open discussions, they explored key democratic principles and the role of youth in shaping the future.
