2024: A Year to Remember with LAIKA 🚀🐾 As 2024 comes to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on an incredible journey filled with milestones, growth, and exciting possibilities for the future. Here's a look back at what this year has meant for me and LAIKA: ✨ Kicking Off at CES 2024 The year started with a bang at #CES2024, where LAIKA garnered massive attention. The energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm from the crowd were beyond anything we could have imagined. It was clear from the start: we’re onto something big. 💡 Beta Phase Success Shortly after, we launched a beta program with 104 clinics. The feedback and results were phenomenal, setting the stage for what came next. A great team work of AITEM Artificial Intelligence Technologies Multipurpose people 🌍 Commercial Growth In just 6 months, we expanded into 3 markets. And we’re not stopping there. LAIKA is on a growth trajectory, and 2025 promises even more exciting market entries. 🏆 Recognition and Community This year, we joined Veterinary Health Innovation Engine, received the Impact Award from SETsquared Partnership, and proudly pitched at the Animal Innovation Forum. Abbiamo intervistato Massimiliano Melis, COO e fondatore di AITEM. Massimiliano lavora nel campo dell’IA dal 2013 e attualmente guida lo sviluppo di LAIKA, il primo copilot AI per veterinari Se vi state chiedendo che cos’è e come funziona un copilot AI per veterinari, non perdetevi questo PetSpark Talk! ✨Che cosa vi ha portato a creare un progetto nel mondo pet? Fondata nel 2020, AITEM ha esordito con AIPPO, software per la diagnosi rapida del COVID. LAIKA nasce dall’idea di usare l’AI per i veterinari, idea nata dalla perdita della mia border collie, Bonnie, a causa di una diagnosi tardiva 🤖Cos’è LAIKA? LAIKA è un copilot che interagisce con i veterinari tramite una chat simile ad un collega virtuale. Da supporto in diagnosi differenziali, piani nutrizionali e tanto altro. Abbiamo da poco lanciato LAIKA VOICE, un avatar vocale unico sul mercato 💡Com'è nata l’idea di un software di AI per veterinari? Prima di LAIKA, il team ha passato 6 mesi nelle cliniche veterinarie per capirne i bisogni. È nata così una soluzione che si integra nel workflow migliorandolo 💻Quali algoritmi di IA vengono utilizzati? LAIKA utilizza un mix di LLM e modelli deterministici di Machine Learning basati su oltre 70.000 casi clinici etichettati, con una parte di RAG specifica per linguaggio e traduzione 🐶In che modo l’IA aiuta i veterinari? LAIKA riduce i tempi fino a 75 volte in attività come diagnosi differenziali, analisi di esami clinici e generazione di SOAP notes. Inoltre, consente di ridurre i costi delle cliniche 🌍In che fase vi trovate a livello di sviluppo e commercializzazione? LAIKA è attualmente in commercio in Italia, Francia e Regno Unito. L’AI è in costante miglioramento, ed ora abbiamo rilasciato, primi al mondo, la prima AI vocale LAIKA Voice ✨Che tipo di accoglienza ha avuto il software? L’accoglienza è stata sorprendente. Chi inizia a usare LAIKA ci da feedback positivi, anche grazie a feedback iniziali negativi, che ci hanno aiutato a migliorare! 🚀Quali sviluppi prevedete per il futuro? Il lancio di LAIKA Voice, l’interfaccia vocale, rappresenta un grande passo per migliorare il lavoro dei veterinari.
