  • On Day 31 of 31 Days of Gratitude, I am thankful for the power of forgiveness to give a fresh start in a relationship. It will soon be 2024… who do you need to forgive? 🤔 As we step into the New Year 🎉, it's not just a time for resolutions and new beginnings but also a profound opportunity for change through the power of forgiveness. 💫 Forgiveness is more than just a word; it's a path to freedom. By choosing to forgive, we free ourselves from the burdens of resentment and pain, allowing us to walk in peace and harmony. 🕊️ It's not just about letting go; it's about moving forward with a lighter heart and a clearer mind. But the power of forgiveness doesn't stop with us. When we forgive, we also release others from the chains of guilt and regret, offering them a chance to experience greater peace and joy in their lives. Imagine the ripple effect of such an act—where one gesture of forgiveness can lead to an outpouring of healing and understanding. 🌊 With our celebration of Christmas and the birth of the One who offers forgiveness to you and me so that we may be reconciled, or made in good relationship again, with our Heavenly Father, let's follow His example and give the gift of forgiveness to ourselves and to those we forgive. 🙏 Who just came to your mind? 💭 This New Year, let's embrace forgiveness as the ultimate gift 🎁 – to ourselves and to others. It's time to shed the weight of the past and step into a future filled with hope and new possibilities. Here's to a year of healing, growth, and the freedom that comes with forgiveness. May we all find the strength to forgive and the grace to be forgiven. #NewBeginnings #ForgivenessIsFreedom #PeacefulHeart2023 #NewYearNewYou

  • 🌟 Day 30 of 31 Days of Gratitude 🌟 Today, I'm embracing a future so bright it shines with the promise of hope and purpose. Why? Because I'm all in! 💫 I'm committed to living as a reflection of my Father, God’s love and light in this world. I’m all in. Surrendered. Surrender is the seed pod in which life resides. I’m all in, surrendered to live as a son of my Father, God. Jesus, the Son of God, surrendered to the will of His Father and walked among us as a son of man so that we, too, might rise as children of God. What an honor! This journey isn't about our pleasure or avoiding pain; it's about setting aside worldly desires to illuminate the path for others to find peace and life in Christ Jesus. 💖 As we, sons and daughters of God, navigate different paths and circumstances, we share the same incredible opportunity: a future filled with light. 🌅 Remember, Romans 8:5-8 tells us that a life led by the Spirit is a life of peace and vitality. If you're struggling to see that bright future, know this: God is always ready to listen and guide you towards His radiant vision for your life. 🙏 Let's step forward together, exchanging fleeting shadows for His eternal light. #GratefulHeart #BrightFuture #Day30ofGratitude #FaithJourney #ChildrenOfGod

  • Day 29 of 31 Days of Gratitude: Cherishing Community 🌐 As I near the end of this 31-day reflective journey, today's gratitude is dedicated to the incredible power of community. 🤝 In my work with Break the Cycle Global, I've witnessed firsthand how a united group of individuals with a common purpose to advance the Kingdom of God can create ripples of change that extend far beyond their immediate surroundings. The strength, resilience, and compassion of the communities we work with in East Africa are a testament to the human spirit's capacity for kindness and cooperation. I have a saying in Swahili that our Kenyan organization references often: "Tuna Jaribu, Tuna Jifunza, Tuko Pamoja." This translates to English as: We are Trying, We are Learning, We are Together. It’s the "together" that gets us through the trying and learning, the pain of the process. At the end of the day, we recognize… We are Together. With this in mind, I'm deeply thankful for: The local leaders and volunteers who dedicate their lives to uplifting others. Your passion is the heartbeat of progress. ❤️ Our donors and supporters who believe in our mission and join us in making a difference. Your generosity fuels hope and transformation. 🌟 My colleagues and partners in the field, whose collaboration and expertise turn visions into reality. Together, we're stronger. 🤝 Each of you plays a vital role in the tapestry of change, and I am profoundly grateful for the sense of belonging and purpose you bring into my life. As we continue to work towards creating Christ-centered communities, your support and dedication remind me that when we come together, we function as a body. All parts equal but different, advancing the Kingdom of God together. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. 🚀 Tuko Pamoja! We are Together. 🤓 🙏 🐘 #Day29ofGratitude #CommunityStrength #BreakTheCycleGlobal #Thankful

  • Day 28 of 31 Days of Gratitude 🌟: The Gift of Choice Recently, I found myself in a heartfelt conversation with God, feeling overwhelmed by the weight of financial responsibilities for our ministry in Kenya 🇰🇪. With about 250 children to feed and educate and 27 families to support, the burden was heavy on my shoulders. As I voiced my concerns, God offered me a choice - a profound one. He said, "You can choose to be either obedient or responsible for the outcome." The decision was clear and almost immediate. I chose obedience. 🙏 God's promise was reassuring: if I focused on being obedient, He would take care of the outcomes. This conversation was a powerful reminder of His love and care. It taught me that my role is to be obedient to His will, and the rest lies in His capable hands. 🕊️ This journey has also taught me that outcomes shouldn't always be judged as good or bad based on our limited perspective. What might not look right to me can be part of a greater plan that only He understands. His vision is beyond our comprehension, and His plans are always for our best. 🌈 Lastly, obedience requires listening. To follow His path, we must tune our hearts to hear His voice and understand His calling. It's a journey of faith, trust, and constant communication. As I continue my 31 Days of Gratitude, I'm deeply thankful for this lesson of trust and obedience. What has God called you to be obedient to? How are you listening to His voice in your life? 📖✨ #31DaysofGratitude #FaithJourney #ObedienceToGod #KenyaMinistry #SpiritualGrowth #TrustInGod

  • Day 27 of 31 Days of Gratitude: The Transformative Power of a Great Question 🌟 On this 27th day of expressing gratitude, I want to highlight something often overlooked but incredibly powerful in our personal and professional lives: the art of asking a well-thought-out question. Great answers provide solutions, yes, but great questions? They open doors to new worlds of thought 🚪. A well-crafted question doesn't just scratch the surface; it dives deep, challenging us to think, reflect, and grow 🌱. I've realized that by asking someone a thoughtful question, I'm not just seeking an answer. I'm inviting them on a journey of self-discovery and insight. This process is empowering. It's not about me providing an answer but about guiding them to discover their own, to own it fully. This is why today, I'm immensely grateful for every question that has made me pause, think, and learn 🙏. In the spirit of gratitude, I encourage us all to appreciate the questions just as much as the answers. Let's embrace the curiosity that drives us forward. Next time you're tempted to provide a quick solution, pause and consider asking a question instead. The journey to the answer might just be more enlightening than the destination itself ✨. What's one question that has profoundly impacted you recently? Let's share and inspire each other with the power of inquiry! #31DaysOfGratitude #Day27 #ThePowerOfQuestions #CuriosityLeadsToGrowth #ReflectiveLearning

  • Day 26 of 31 Days of Gratitude: Celebrating Resilience and God's Plan 🌟 On this 26th day of gratitude, my heart overflows with thankfulness 🙏 for the divine journey of resilience and growth. Life's challenges are not merely obstacles; they are essential parts of God's plan to strengthen our character and deepen our faith. I'm grateful for every setback that taught me persistence 💪, every difficulty that pushed me to innovate 🧠, and every moment of discomfort that propelled me to grow 🌱, just as Romans 5:3-5 reminds us to "rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope." Through my work and personal experiences, I've realized that resilience isn't about avoiding the storm; it's about learning to dance in the rain ☔, trusting that God is with us every step of the way. I'm thankful for the lessons learned and the strength gained along this winding path. Each experience has sculpted me into who I am today, and for that, I am profoundly grateful 🌟. Let's embrace our stories of resilience and growth, acknowledging that every challenge we've overcome is a testament to the One who is at work in us both to will and to work for His good pleasure (Phil 2:13), and is part of God's greater plan for our lives. May we hold onto the hope 🕊️ that does not disappoint because God's love ❤️ has been poured into our hearts. #Day26 #31DaysOfGratitude #Resilience #Growth #GodsPlan #Romans5

  • 🌟 Day 25 of 31 Days of Gratitude: On this blessed Christmas Day, I'm profoundly thankful for the Father's love, the Son's obedience, and the Holy Spirit's power. 🎄✨ When asked about the gospel of Jesus Christ, I reflect on this simple, profound truth: The Son of God Became a son of man So that sons of men Could become sons of God Each line unfolds a story of divine love. Imagine, the Creator of all, Jesus, coming to earth as a mere mortal. Father God's love is so vast that He asked His Son to make this ultimate sacrifice. 🙌 Jesus, in his unfathomable obedience, said, "Not my will, but yours be done," submitting to those He created, even as they led Him to the cross. And then, the Holy Spirit, in magnificent power, raised Him from the dead—yes, that's a nod to Easter! 🕊️✝️ This grand narrative was all to reconcile us to Father God, to transform us into sons and daughters of the Most High, living embodiments of His Word on Earth. We are the carriers of this celestial legacy, preparing a Kingdom to be presented back to the Father. 👑 Merry Christmas! 🎅🎁 Let's rejoice, for our King is born, and through Him, we find our truest identity and purpose. #ChristmasGratitude #DivineLove #Gospel #MerryChristmas
